Dear All,I would like to understand in depth on the different between Cookies, Device Advertising ID and Cross Device from ID Type while create data sources.Not sure my understand is correct or not?When to use what?1) Cookies - Whether the user is non-authenticated or authenticated all kind of data has been pushed to this data sources with this ID.2) Device Advertising ID - If the user has iOS or Android or any other internet enabled device then those user has been pushed to this data sources with this ID.3) Cross Device -  When user authenticated with multiple device then we use to make sure to fine tune the user is in Person or Household.Let me know if the above understand is right?Thanks,Vijay

Hi Guys,Data is not flowing in rule based traits. What could be the reason?I am using Adobe Analytics Report Suite as a Data Source and enabled Server Side Forwarding also. However onboarded segment from Analytics is showing data.Also I need information about creating rule based trait for OOTB data such as Day Since Last Visit, Entry Page Name and Activity Map Link Name, what will be the key Value pair for it?Any response and suggestion will be highly appreciated.

Hello, I built a trait and checked trait graph. I think Device ID number should larger than cross device ID number.But, My trait cross device ID number is greater than Device ID number. Is it possible? For this reason some trait shows device ID (of trait graph) equal 0(zero) What should i check to solve this problem?

We load AAM via Launch.  AAM is loaded at the same time that the Analytics core is loaded and we are using server side forwarding. Our IT department is asking if we can delay the destinations being sent to AAM until later on the page.   It that possible?  Is it possible to still load AAM at the time that the Analytics core is loaded, but to delay the destinations being sent? 

Hi guys Does anyone who if AAM will add "lasted edited" column to the segment and traits table?  Adobe Analytics have this feature, which is very helpful to find recently created segment/trait without having to check segment/trait ID.  Thanks! Kind RegardsHang

Hi, We're having trouble installing the AAM extension on launch. Most of the guides in the installation are still using the old version, with the current v 9.5 in launch the DIL portion are missing. I tried using the custom code and paste the DTM custom code but when I try to save the extension it give me "Please correct the Invalid Input" but it does not mention which part should be corrected. Does any one had the same experience? Thanks! 

We have created a test group in Audience lab and map the test segment to ACS and GA, but we are not able to see the test segment name or the mapping key in the audience library. As far as destination concern i don't see any issue in it (default segments are being exported and visible in audience library),on the other hand the test segment ids are reflect in GA which is a cookie based destination. Does the audience lab test segments are not work on the server to server destination? How could we validate the ids are exported? (since we have mapped many default segment to that ACS destination we can't export the server files from SFTP to valid. the files size are huge) Please guide me in this case.

I've been watching Experience League tutorials but I feel like I'm missing this bit. Apologies as I know it's fairly basic! 1. How does Audience Manager know that a signal from a CRM data set and a signal from Analytics belong to the same user? 2. Follow up would be, at what stage of implementation is this made possible? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Hi,we have 2 accounts (local, group) of Adobe Experience Cloud - each including AAM. Will it be possible to create a destination between AAM local <-> AAM group in order to share segments between them? Any tips? Thanks, Michael

Hi there,  I understand there is another similar post to this but I have been hearing mixed messages so wanted to get clarification. For rule-based traits:You can qualify a rule-based trait immediately via several methods1) Using the URLs provided under the "URLS and tags for the pixel" under Trait Action in AAM. Copy and paste the URL, once you see the black screen, you have qualified yourself to the rule-based trait.  Example: https://company.demdex.net/event?d_sid=123456789  Questions and confirmation needed for this:Is this qualification effectively immediately? Will this apply to cross-devices or need to wait 24+ hours?If I want to use this method to qualify a specific account, can this URL be modified to something like this: https://company.demdex.net/event?d_sid=123456789&d_cid=datasourceID%01CRMIDCan d_unsid be used with this method instead too? For on-boarded traits:My understanding is that you can only qualify onboard

Today I tried to perform some normal maintenance using BAAAM to request all Traits. Unlike previous attempts, it now pops up with a note that it is restricted to 1000 traits and you have to put in a page number (1 for 1-1000, 2 for 1001-2000, I suppose) to get these. Is this new? This makes performing an audit very tedious for those of us with thousands of traits. Am I missing something? Thanks.

Hello - we've come across the same question a few times from the business and our Adobe Target admins. We're seeking to do some onsite personalization via Adobe Target, using 3p audiences we built using an Audience Marketplace data provider.  Given that these are 3p cookie pools, devices have already qualified for the segment.  So when they land on our website for the first time, will they see the personalized experience (first page) or would need to take an action on our website to qualify?  Many thanks-   Marc K.
