Adobe Analytics

Hi Everyone,I am trying to link Adobe Analytics with SA360 per Google documentation https://support.google.com/searchads/answer/7669521?hl=en using JWT authentication method. I have the admin access in Adobe Analytics and sufficient permissions on SA360. The issue is, the link never completes. I am getting the error "Unable retrieve your Adobe report suites. Please check if the private key has expired on Adobe Analytics." when I have newly generated the public private key pair in Adobe developer console. Can anyone who has performed this integration can help if I am missing some permissions on SA360 or any other issue?TIA!

Hello, we are using a product syntax with some custom eVar. Data looks clean, but when creating segment we have trouble having the granularity we are looking for without doing an extract. For example, in my array :product1 : eVar3 = Hello, eVar4 = Worldproduct2 : eVar3 = Hi, eVar4 = Planetproduct3 : eVar3 = Hello, eVar4 = Planet if user A has :product1 : eVar3 = Hello, eVar4 = Worldproduct2 : eVar3 = Hi, eVar4 = Planet I want to target those who have "eVar3 = Hello and eVar4 = Planet", the problem is that user A will be include in my segment as it lives within the same hit. Is there a way to create a segment to identify the proper product element in these cases?  

I need some advice regarding an issue with eVars.Whenever a request form is submitted, we generate a unique alphanumeric eVar. When a second form is submitted, a new unique eVar is created.We expected that each eVar would have only one instance, but we are seeing multiple instances for each unique eVar.The problem is that for each unique eVar, we're observing more than one instance, which shouldn't be happening. Does anyone have any ideas on how to debug this?Thanks!

I'm trying to bring in the back end orders post user created a cart(scenario - B2B provision to checkout cart form their in-house system) Ref to this post - https://developer.adobe.com/analytics-apis/docs/1.4/guides/data-insertion/ I was hoping to passECID to <marketingCloudVisitorId> when my backend system places an order. In this case data stitching would happen as same ECID from the user session was passed. Unfortunately, they came back stating MCMID can't be fetched from the user UI(front end session cookie) for some reasons As an alternate my backend team willing to pass the cartID from the same user session.But my question here is if cartId to <visitorId> field, HOW can we make adobe consider/stitch this API inserted hit into a session matching cartId? Earlier we used to add multiple segments as options in a segment dropdown.But since the new changes have been made, where we can select multiple segments (as OR condition) in a segment dropdown, I am not able to add more than two segments in a dropdown.Even by pressing shift, it doesn't work.      Whats the workaround for this?

Hi There!I'm using the getPercentPageViewed plug-in. I'm writing the value to a prop.The values for any page come in as 100, 99, 98 and so on. We have a lot of long-scrolling pages on our site.I'm hoping to build a calculated metric, specifically get the AVG percent viewed for each page on my site. I've been trying to build a metric by using the MEAN function and then dropping in the prop. It says that I need to add a metric, but not quite sure what that means.Any guidance on how to do this? Thank you!Curtis

Hello! What do you think the best approach to this business problem is?  At the beginning of the year, we started collecting customer IDs within Adobe in a custom evar. We now have a PowerBi dashboard that receives a daily export from Adobe with all the customer IDs that visited the website within a day. The dashboard then ingests in-store customer purchase data and matches back customers who purchased in-store to customers who visited the website within 7 days.  I want to take those matched customer IDs and put the data back into Adobe so I can analyze the website behavior of customers who shopped in-store. I know I could do a custom segment, but that's pretty manual. I'm hoping to export out of PowerBI for each fiscal week and upload those IDs back into Adobe to create a segment of some sort. What would be the best approach here?  I eventually need to be able to answer questions like:1. What marketing channel converts the most amount of people to instore

I need to prepare demo with cross channel analytics use-case for FI. Preparing dummy data in python for every channel and journey sounds like hell. Then it needs to be in XDM Schema format and then uploaded into AEP.  How would you approach such a task?

Hi Team,   We have implemented scOpen as Unique event ID record type so that it records for only once.   We have one context_data mapped to this : So want to ask if we need to do some additional configuration for MApp also to have unique scOpens or configuration in Admin section would be  sufficient and applicable for both mweb and mapp?   Any help in this regard will be really helpful.

Hi Team, Rightnow, I am migrating into websdk, so using getprevious value plugin to get the previous page name.So, it is working fine, but some time it shows the value undefined for the first page. Please help me to understand the reson. Thanks!!Bindu Kumari

I know this question has been asked in the past, but is it possible to enforce federated accounts only and disallow Adobe accounts?Meaning, can this be achieved through a setting in the console or from support side? Cheers

Hi Team, I would like to know if the eventID in event ID serialization is case sensitive.i.e.,  If visitor A sends event1:ABC then visitor B sends event1:abc, will Adobe ignore the second instance from visitor B. Thank you 

We are just starting to use this wonderful feature to help users understand cause and effect of some releases. We have defined seven annotation groups (with tags). One tag is 'Sprint Release'. These happen generally every two weeks. Then I create a line graph with annotations turned on, it shows annotations for all seven groups. Useful, but for this use case, we'd like the user be able to only turn on 'Sprint Release' so they can just see cause and effect of releases. I don't see any way to pick just one. Any thoughts? Hello, I am currently working on integrating Adobe Analytics into an iOS application using WKWebView. The integration works perfectly on Android, confirming that the credentials (s_account and trackingServer) are correct. Problem: While this code successfully injects and executes the AppMeasurement script on Android devices, it does not seem to log any data in Adobe Analytics when tested on iOS devices. The appMeasurementInitialization script is executed without errors, as evidenced by the alerts and console logs, but no data appears in Adobe Analytics. Question: Could you please provide guidance on what might be causing this issue specifically on iOS devices? Hello, I have configured one of my Report Suite data with testing environment data. Which is now ongoing testing.I would like to know if there is some way that I can purge the report suite current data. Any idea why a particular visit identified by adobe ID is falling under the time spent per visit bucket for more than 15 hours when the total time spent is only 66s.  

Hi there,  I'm looking into our site engagement and have noticed that when looking at the time spent per visit metric, I see around 5 mins on average. However when looking at the bucketed time spent per visit, over half of our visits last less than 1 min, which tells a slightly different story. Is anyone able to help me reconcile these two numbers? I was wondering how to make a bar chart comparing data from 3 different freeform tables (each modeling a different section within 3 different websites)? Each freeform table has Site Section with page name as a breakdown (these are the dimensions). For my column of metrics, I have a custom date range and am tracking visits.I want to display the breakdown of visits for these 3 different website sections in a bar chart and also display the amount of views combined across all 3. To display the breakdown, I have been trying to make the results from each freeform table into a segment and then pulling the 3 segments into another table to visualize. However, I can only select one-page worth of data results to pull into a segment (some of my freeform data results have 1,111 results and I can't find a way to include all of these results in the segments).Do you know how to fix this or if there is an easier way to do this? (create segments for each of my 3 freeform tables to visualize each of thei

I want to find viewers of a page from time of market close to market open for a certain time period and need to know if I should set times in PST or EST to accommodate for the time difference (markets are open 9:30 AM - 4 PM EST).
