Adobe Analytics

I wanted to identify the total visitors to the site, which would include both unique and repeat visitors. AA only has a metric for unique visitors, which provides the number of unique visitors. Is there a way to identify all visitors, including both unique and repeat visitors, using a single metric?

Hi everyone, I am trying to show the average time spent on a page within a certain section in a histogram, i.e. how many visits with 1-5 sec. time on that sections, how many visits with 6-10 time, and so forth. I used the metric 'Average time on Site' and filtered on the section (evar - certain pages are included) and got 71 seconds. I also found the dimensions 'Time Spent on Page - Bucketed' and 'Time Spent on Page - Granular'. I used the Granular one, page views as a metric and the same filters and downloaded all rows to an excel and calculated the sumproduct and divided by the sum of page views to verify the average seconds spent. The result is 11 seconds. This does not fit to the 71 seconds when using the 'Average time on Site'. How do they differ?Thank you!

We all know about hits being captured in different then container scenarios (Include All, After & Before). Hey all, I'm brand new to Adobe Analytics, but I haven't found the answer to this question anywhere, so maybe you can help. I'm using a combo visualization to compare monthly values over the previous twelve months compared to the 12 months prior to that (each line represents 12 months). In the settings, I checked the box that said "Show trend line," but it doesn't show any trend lines unless I hover over the graph with my mouse (then the trend line is grey, so I have no idea which period of time it's referring to), which isn't helpful since I have lots of graphs to add to reports. Anyone know how to make them visible without me needing to hover over the graph? Also, is there a way to make a trend line match the color of the data line it represents? I'm including a picture of the way I need it to look with colored, dotted lines (I used Excel) and the way it looks now with my cursor hovering over it. Hi All, I have a visitor level segment, but within the segment I have "Visit to Page A then Visit to Page A". I didn't make the then part time bound (after or within), I just left at the default. Will this successfully look at a User that Visited Page A in one visit and then at ANY later visit also again visited Page A again?  Thanks!

Hi, We are interested in using Adobe Analytics 2.0 API.  There are a couple of questions i have:1) Are there quotas in terms of how many calls can be made concurrently per user/report suite/org?2) Is there a standard variables/pageurl across report suites that is accessible from API 2.0?  it seems this dimension is not usable from the API.3) We would like to pull page name and page url with page views call so the response looks likeHome Page,https://site.com/, 101Home Page,https://a.site.com/, 100Products, https://site.com/products/, 100It seems like I would need to make a single call get a list of all the page names and then make a separate breakdown call for each page name by page_url.Thanks for your help,Sammy

I want to create Daily alert which gives Unique visitors data of current day, Last week same day and last month same day. I am not seeing date range to be select in alert for this scenario. Could any one please help. Thanks!

Hello- I frequently copy data tables from adobe analytics and paste to excel for further analysis. Starting on 8/14, the data that gets copied are the percentages, not the values themselves. I have played with settings and contact our Adobe Analytics SMEs, and this is a new issue that does not have a clear solution. Any help would be appreciated. I believe this is a separate bug, but If I unselect percentages from the column settings, only partial data is copied to the clipboard (ex. uncheck percentages, copy 5 cells from a column, paste into excel, only the 5th cell in the column gets pasted.

I'd like to sort a dimension alphabetically, but I don't see an arrow like in this example:I believe the dimension is dynamic because I don't see a lock symbol on the individual rows when I hover over them:Any advice on how to sort the column alphabetically would be appreciated.

Hello, I have a rolling calendar based on previous EOM last date as the most recent date. I have the "Month" Dimension in my freeform table, but I lose all the other dimensional breakdowns I have on previous months. In other words, I have to go back in to the most recent month of data and add in the dimensional breakdowns to the month, in this example September 2024. Is there a way around this to auto-apply dimensional breakdowns when dates update in a freeform table in workspace? Thanks!

I am trying to download the 'Average time on site' metrics data from the workspace in .csv file.The gets distorted, even when I select the option in excel that say "Don't convert".Can you please suggest what should be the correct way to download or what will be the correct cell format in excel for this data.

Hello, Our application needs to access Adobe Analytics data owned by our users, which we do through user authentication credentials via OAuth.As mentioned in the Authentication API reference, refresh tokens "by default" expire after 14 days. This means that our users currently need to reconnect every 14 days for us to continue accessing their data. We have two questions regarding this:The phrase "by default" suggests there might be a way to modify the refresh token lifespan. Is it possible to extend its duration?Since we want to avoid asking our users to reconnect every 14 days, we believe the appropriate solution would be to use OAuth Server-to-Server credentials. This would require our users to set up the credentials on their end and provide us with the client_id and client_secret. Is it the best solution? Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi Experts, Could someone help me understand, as for Adobe Target one system dataset gets created : 'Adobe Target Classification Events' which can be used for Experimentation Panel in CJA reporting.Which dataset can be used for AJO? I have already added Journey step events, entity lookup, email, message and push datasets in the connection.But no journey shows up in the Experimentation Panel.

When we are applying filter on Metric API (https://adobedocs.github.io/analytics-2.0-apis/#/Metrics/getMetrics) for "segmentable" field with “false” value, it is giving records having both true and false value. The filter is not working properly. When we apply true value: When we apply false value: Could you please share details regarding why it is working like this.

Hello,Is there an alternative solution to the shortcomings of the Mobile Device report where most devices are grouped into generic categories for both iOS and Android? I am currently implementing Adobe Analytics using AppMeasurement for a client. On the staging site, the "new vs. repeat visitor" metric always shows as "new," while it works correctly as "repeat" on the production site. The e_mcid (Marketing Cloud ID) is the same for both environments. Could this issue be related to the cookie domain or its expiration period? What additional settings should I check to resolve this issue?

I have a multi-select list where I am firing an event and a serialized event.  Let's say that I have 4 items on this list. At the moment, the selected values are captured in an array in the Front-End. How can I translate this information into Adobe Analytics?
