I want compare 2 groups of visitor:A-Ordered product: 1or2or3 in time period 1(say Aug.10th-Aug.25th) AND then ordered product: 4or5or6 in time period 2(say Aug.26th-Sep.5th)B-Ordered product: 4or5or6 in time period 2(say Aug.26th-Sep.5th) But Did Not order 1or2or3 in time period 1(say Aug.10th-Aug.25th) I created below segments:for supporting segment:segment#1-Visitor level: in a hit container Order exist and Product = 1or2or3, custom time period 1segment#2-Visitor level: in a hit container Order exist and Product = 4or5or6, custom time period 2for final segment:(for group A)segment#3-segment#1 And segment#2(for group B,)segment#4-segment#2 And exclude segment#1result: I can get a number of Unique Visitors for segment #3; but for segment#4, it is the same as segment#2.How can I have number for segment#4 that is segment#2-segment#3?Thanks a lot!

I need to create a custom event through the custom code in the Data Collection rule. To do this, I first enabled event 38 in Adobe Analytics (image 1). Then, within Data Collection, I added the code snippet to the Purchase rule, assigning it to event 38 (image 2). Interestingly, when testing, the s.products variable shows the calculation for this event (image 3), but the data is not being sent to Adobe Analytics. We need your help to review this issue.

Hi,I'm trying to create a segment to identify visits that do not include a specific event.To do so, I created a visit segment with 'Event does not exist'. Tried this in a visit container and just standalone.My expectation of this segment was that it would return all visits where there is no event.Instead, the segment returns almost 100% of visits, because (I assume) almost every visit has at least one hit that does not include the event. A visit segment with event = 0 or event <= 0 performs the expected function. Is this a bug in 'Does Not Exist' in visit segment behavior, or does this in fact function as intended?  TY, Jen     

The scenario goes like, my implementation is for an application and I have used the mobile SDK for the same. Now, all the allocation to eVars, props and events would happen via processing rules at the end. In my use case, when I am looking into the values of the out of the box events specifically for Product Views, Cart Additions, Cart Views, Checkouts and all..I am seeing the the count is twice or even, which means if product is added once, it is getting counted as twice. Please Note : It is a counter event not numeric and no any custom configuration is done in the report suite configuration as well. Cart AdditionsProduct ViewsProd A22Prod B04Prod C26 Thanks in Advance.

I've got a cohort table. It's set up to be visitors and it's by custom dimension. However, when I set up a cohort table and instead just put one of the values as a segment, I get a different starting number on the date where the cohort table begins, and it's a huge difference, about 90% lower. I created a freeform table for the same conditions by date, and I get a number that's different from both of those, but much closer to the single dimension value cohort table than the multiple dimension value cohort table. What is going on? I read up on the custom dimension breakout, and it uses the dimension only for inclusion criteria, not for return. I set up that single dimension accordingly, so that's not it. 

please let me know how to get dimensions and segments in calculated metrics 

Hi All,I am facing the below scenario and will need possible solution for this.Scenario:I have two pages. Say Page A and Page B. On page A I have a link which takes me to page B which is a form page. On page A the implementation trigger page load call where it captures page name in evar and same method is implemented page B.On page B the implementation also triggers a custom call for successful form submission CTA text on click in a prop.Now, when I breakdown this exact value of Form submission prop by pages, it provides me values with both page A and page B.I wonder why I see numbers of CTA clicks with both the pages. Should not It only be associated with page B as the form is on page B and page B page load triggers before than Form sign up.There are different Adobe Launch properties for both the pages but report suit for data collection is same.I am using occurrences, visit and a calculated metric where condition is visit with CTA value.ThanksAnimesh

We want to track users across domains, however the results we got from our tests made us question if it is working properly. We tested by setting a specific tracking code and navigating across domains. Then we checked in Adobe Analytics by looking at the visit metric and breaking down to platforms or pages - while having a filter in place with the tracking code we have set initially. We expected to see all platforms / pages we visited across domains, which was not the case. We would only see the pages of the first domain we visited. to give more context:we are using the Web SDK's appendIdentityToUrl function to append the user identity cross-domain from domainA to domainB and can see that the value in the "kndctr_xxx_AdobeOrg_identity" is identitcal on both domainsboth domains track into the same Analytics report suitedomainA and domainB have a dedicated platform name that is captured in the same eVardomainB is not showing a v

Hi All, I know how to get new vs. repeat visitors at a high level. How do I put together a segment and/or view that shows all visitors that hit a page. Then all visitors that hit the page that were new to that specific page. Then I want to show repeat visitors to that specific page as well.

Hi there,I do initialize the getPreviousValue-Plugin with Data Collection and then setting two eVars by using an additional rule, the Adobe Analytics extension and custom code looking like this:s.eVar18 = s.getPreviousValue(s.pageName,"gpv_pageName"); s.eVar19 = s.getPreviousValue(s.channel,"gpv_siteSection");Everything is working fine for this. Cookies are set, eVars are set as soon as cookies have a value.Now, I'm trying to add an additional line, looking like this:s.eVar17 = s.getPreviousValue(s.eVar2,"gpv_pageId");For this one, no cookie is built and therefore no eVar is set while eVar2 exists in the tracking calls.Can someone tell me why?

I notice from this page https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/analytics/admin/admin-tools/manage-report-suites/edit-report-suite/report-suite-general/c-processing-rules/c-processing-rules-configuration/processing-rule-dimensions that s.products cannot be set via Processing Rules.Does this mean it is impossible to set s.products from a mobile app using processing rules to map contextData to Analytics variables? If not, how do you do it?

I refer to the definition in the documentation: - The ‘Reloads’ metric shows the number of times a dimension item was present during a reload. A visitor refreshing their browser is the most common way to trigger a reload.- This metric counts the number of hits where the Page dimension contains the same value as the previous hit. So I use window function to calculate it: LEAD(post_pagename, 1) OVER(PARTITION BY visid ORDER BY visit_page_num) as next_pagename And then, if next_pagename = post_pagename, I mark this record as reload. But I got about 5 times larger the number than it's shown using the metric reload on the dashboard. Why?

hi guys, i have a question relative to the transaction amount of 2 event page. Please follow the following context for more information: currently i have 2 event page, the 1st one (click_button) hits when user click continue button at screen A and the 2nd one (onload_result) hits when user on load successfully at screen B. The logic on my mobile application is when user click continue button at screen A, then user will redirect to screen B. With the logic as mentioned above, the number of "click_button" should always be greater than or equal to the number of "onload_result". However, as you can see in the attached image. With filtering by Android and IOS, I think the number for IOS is correct, but the number when filtering by Android is unreasonable. The number of "click_button" is 435 (Unique Visitors) and 862 (Page Views) and "onload_result" is 439 (Unique Visitors) & 866&nbsp

Until this past week, we were able to filter out the "(Low Traffic)" item from data tables by using the "Always Exclude" field in the advanced search mode of the filter option. Now Workspace returns an error saying "One of the segments or the search in this visualization contains a text search that returned too many results. Please narrow the text search criteria and try again." Even if we click on the "x" next to "(Low Traffic)" in the results list, the issue persists.   

We see Total Session Length present as the out of the box metrics in Adobe Analysis Workspace? How this is getting calculated, Is the value we are seeing in seconds or milliseconds? Thanks for the help!

Hi, I am trying to match the number of visits per day that I see in Adobe Workspace with the data from the Adobe feed.I need to do it by platform - web and app. I am using the following rule to count the visits in the feed: count (distinct  POST_VISID_HIGH||POST_VISID_LOW||VISIT_NUM||VISIT_START_TIME_GMT)It works very well for the web (the difference is minimal), but for the app it is not as great. Workspace always shows around 2-3% more app visits than the feed.It is like those visits are missing from the feed. The filters for the app and web traffic are applied exactly like we do in in Adobe.Should I consider anything else when it comes to the app traffic?I really appreciate any help you can provide.Kate
