Adobe Analytics

Hi there I recently upgraded to Excel 365. When I open an excel file which previously had 'Report Finder' setup as a adobe analytics as an add-on - it is no longer available. I cannot seem to restore it in the recommended method as well.  Would appreciate any help on this. ThanksD 

Within Advertising Analytics, there are only 2 search engine options in our account, Bing and Adwords. There is no Microsoft Ads option available. All documentation describes a Bing integration.We keep getting an error message stating the Microsoft Account doesn't exist and suggests entering a different or new account.  It is possible to login to Microsoft Ads with the same account and passwordThe correct permissions have been enabled in Microsoft Ads and Adobe AnalyticsThe Advertising Analytics set up is correct, we currently have Adwords data flowing. Could the issue be due to the connection on the Adobe side due to the move from Bing to Microsoft Ads?   

How can each customer ID have multiple unique visitors? I guess each customer when they sign in using specific username and password they are identified with customer id and it has to be 1 unique visitors right ?

How do I create a segment for non-purchasers that looks outside the reporting window?i.e. I want to count the number of visitors who visited last week & have not purchased in the last 90 days

Roku uses a media SDK (and not the traditional mobile SDK).  The documentation indicates that we can fire the usual trackAction and trackState calls.  However, there isn’t any mention of how to fire the lifecycle event that would give us the metrics/dimensions that are listed here.  How do we fire lifecycle events on Roku?  This getting started article doesn’t mention the lifecycle event. 

Hi there,  I'm hoping someone can help me come up with some reasons as to why suddenly, on two of our CTV devices, there is no visitor stitching happening at all in Adobe. From 14th Jan (at 11am), multiple visitor IDs are being logged under the same IP address.  Nothing has changed on these devices from a dev/implementation standpoint, but something has clearly changed somewhere.  Any helps or thoughts on possible reasons would be greatly appreciated! It's a real head stratcher.  Thank you!Sonia    

Is there any resource where we can learn about creating segment? especially advanced segmentations?

I am having troubles understanding how Adobe Analytics calculates the totals. I used the API debugger to copy the request. When I sum the response values I get a different (higher) sum from the one in total . I am looking at the metric visits and dimensions daterange .... Any ideas ?

However when looking into existing RS settings I do not see anything that distinguishes RS by mobile platform but it`s name. Can you please write if there is any other place in Admin panel, i.e. other than General -> General Account Settings where you are setting up? I mean this : Looking forward to hearing from youRafal

Hi all! Just a question regarding Activity Map implementation.  For some reason, we can see the tracking of Activity Map in our UAT site but not in Production.  Have you experienced this? What else should we need to check on why it isn't firing in our Production site?

Hello, I have a question regarding Adobe Analytics and breakdown by dimension. I am missing some values once I add a breakdown dimension like Referrer Type for example. The table shows X out of Y.I am wondering if there is a configuration to show all the values even though it might be very small.Basically for the screenshot example, I would expect to have Referrer Type 3,602 out of 3,602 instead of 3,528 out of 3,602  I have already included nonesI have the same issue with the API so would it be possible to have all the values with the Adobe API v2.0 too ?

Hello,I want to make an Adobe Analytics API request for an e-commerce site to get the number of page views for each product in the e-commerce (there is already a "product" dimension in the Adobe Analytics, which is coming from the URLs.The problem is that I don't want to include pageviews from pages which are "checkout" pages (can be identified easily as they contain the string "checkout" in the URL). I can do this with a search filter, but then I have to include 2 dimensions and the request time increases exponentially and becomes unmanageable (I need to extract the pageviews for hundreds of thousands of products). What would be the way to extract the pageviews per product excluding pageviews from checkout pages?

Trying to combine a bar stacked daily graph by hour with a matching line visualization from previous day and previous week.

I have found and understand the documentation around how Average Time on Site is calculated, however I'm still puzzled by some of the numbers I'm seeing in one of my Workspace dashboards. Typically I keep Average Time on Site nested in a table with individual pages as a dimension, but recently I needed to find a number for this across an entire quarter for the entire site, as well as each month within that quarter. In a new report, I set the quarter in question as the timeframe, and created a new table with just Average Time on Site and used "All Visits" as my dimension. This gave me a total average of around 7 whole minutes. Fishy. Next, I replaced "All Visits" with "Month" and for each month I see an average closer to 1 minute, which seems more realistic. I feel firmly that the 1 minute averages are probably closer to the truth, but before I report these numbers can anyone help me understand why the average gets so bloated using the "All Visits" selection as a dimensio

Hi,When we compare the data coming from Adobe Analytics API and Analytics Dashboard, we see a discrepancy of around 1-2% in the metric values for a few dimensions for any given date range selected. We compared a few dates from October 2021 and checked with the dashboard, and we see a discrepancy. Let me know if there is any specific reason for this. Thanks!!

Hi,Average Time spent on site metrics is messed up since we had two page load server call for particular domain. Now the issue has been rectified. Is ther is any way we can do calculated metrics for historic data? Thanks, Pradeep

Hi, I have 2 eVars ( eVar 126 and eVar 123). Value of eVar 123 is populating in eVar 126 ( in adobe reports). Both of them are unique variables defined on different pages of the website. Thanks 

We are using AEP frameworks for our iOS apps, we can see the traces and ndh logs in the Xcode console which is good. but there are so many different logs which makes it confusing to identify the correct one, I just want to see the formatted logs, is it possible to do that?I have set the loglevel to traces, like:MobileCore.setLogLevel(.trace)
