Hi there,There was a similar discussion back in 2016 but the findings did not shed any information on my scenario.I have been running a campaign for just over a month (35 days to be exact), with AdWords, DCM as push channels to DotCom. As with the title, I noted that in this duration, DCM clicks are less compared to the web visits attributed via tracking codes. Interestingly, this did not apply with AdWords.I have noted the following:All tracking codes are unique to individual digital asset (1 banner = 1 tracking code) and not re-usedThere have been no expiry date set to the tracking codes The increment is about 15% more visits than clicks and beyond our tolerance threshold and I'm curious to know what could be the reason behind this behaviour. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you

Has anyone encountered a scenario where the visit shows a slightly different visit_start_time_gmt, only seconds apart in their feed?We have a fully combined post_visid_high, post_visid_low, visit_num AND visit_start_time_gmt. A specific case is a visitor who had 7 page views in the visit. the visit_start_time_gmt actually has a different value for page view 5. So it makes it look like they initiated a new visit in the data feed.Page 49 of the analytics clickstream document states,*In rare circumstances, internet irregularities, system irregularities, or the use of custom visitor IDs can result in duplicate  visit_num values for the same visitor ID that are not the same  visit. To avoid resulting issues, also include  visit_start_time_gmt when counting visits.Not sure I can do this when the gmt value has slightly different values.

Team,We are using tag management Tealium IQ for our all site to be tracked under adobe analytics and we are so fresh for the Tealium IQ tool as well. Recently we faced some technical glitch on our analytics, some of our stage site URL data are firing into production report suite and we want that to point to Dev report suite instead of prod. Please suggest how to point those particular URL's data in to dev report suite. Hope, that we need to write some JS code for the same, what that line should contain and where we can put the same on Tealium IQ.Please let me know for any other information. Thank you,jay.

Hi all, I have a question regarding the above two tools so not sure if this sits in Analytics or AEM specifically?I have recently implemented Adobe Analytics via DTM on a website. That website also uses AEM as the CMS.  My question is that I have variance between a certain events firing between the tools. For example registrations:Last week AEM measures 450 account registrations, Analytics measures 527 registrations which is a 14% variance in total registrations for that particular week. Why could this be happening? I have already debugged my analytics implementation and am 100% confident that account registration (e7) is only firing accurately.   Is this something to do with the way the tools counts users/visitors and if so is 14% and acceptable variance?thanksSam

Team,We have the full campaign URL with parameters to capture the CPC (cost per click) from the different referrer as shown below. We have seen Typed/Bookmarked takes the huge number. Moreover, when we break down the Typed/Bookmarked with medium report (CPC - evar 43) it has more data and we bit worried about that high numbers due to below concept. Versions of CQ before 5.5 were based on a servlet container (CQSE, by default, though others could be used) running with multiple webapps: One for the CRX content repository and one for the OSGi container which itself contained Sling and Adobe Experience Manager. Hi,I have a click event over a button on website.I have created event based rule in DTM.Evar and prop both have been assigned some values but none of them are reflecting over website.The assigned evar and prop have been enabled in report suites.I checked using DTM Switch as well as with adobe debugger over website.Can someone tell what could be the issuePlease find below the screenshots.

Hi,we are using Activity Map for a customer who tracks main navigation by link tracking s.tl(). The page is also a one-page app. In Activity map reports we get lot of page, links and regions data from the s.tl() - but no overlays are shown in the plugin!I think the pageName (s.pageName) does not correspond to a.activitymap.page (ie the page URL) (see screenshot) - is this the problem?Any idea who to solve this? Hi,We wanted to create a new dimension in Adobe Analytics. Below is the use case,We have two dimensions - Referrer and Referring domain. Referrer gives the complete URL (document.referrer) where as Referring domain gives the parent domain. For example if the referrer is https://www-1.ibm.com/portal/web-services, Referring domain gives ibm.com instead of www-1.ibm.com.We wanted to have a dimension which gives the complete domain name. For example, if the referrer URL ishttps://www-1.ibm.com/portal/web-services , we needed a dimension (available in an prop variable) that gives www-1.ibm.comCould you please suggest whats the right place to do this and make it available in adobe analytics report suites?

Recently I was copied on some email reports coming out of Adobe Analytics.   Very simple:  hits per day and browser type.   I asked for additional detail and my contact said it was too much trouble to instrument every link on every page, so they just tagged the top level menu items.   But then same contact was interested in knowing more about the paths taken through the site.So I think we need to change the level of instrumentation on our pages in order to get some good activity maps or path reports.  The site is just a standard B2C portal hosted on Microsoft IIS; it's not AEM.Curious about the best practice for instrumenting HTML, and if there is any automation available.  I reviewed the documentation for Dynamic Tag Management and that does not seem to be related to the effort of tagging the pages.Would be very grateful to get some feedback on the best way to do this, particularly if there is some automation.Jeff

I am new to adobe analytics, trying to integrate adobe analytics on my angular1.6 web app using javascript from past 3 days. I had followed the steps from adobe analytics implementation documentation using javascript Implementing Analytics Using JavaScript​Added adobe marketing cloud debugger on chrome and I am able to see the requests, but couldn't able to see anything on my AEM dashboard (page views, visits, ect). I am running the application form localhost. Can anyone help me to resolve this?

Hello,So we provide a reporting solution, and for a while now we have used an authorization code flow (https://marketing.adobe.com/developer/documentation/authentication-1/auth-web-server-1) so that we can retrieve reporting data from user's Adobe Analytics account on behalf of the user. We use a scopes mentioned in https://marketing.adobe.com/developer/documentation/authentication-1/auth-scope-1#concept_A508306A83824335B42EE9FC1C51D447.However, it seems like every recent authorization request is coming back with the error:"The specified client does not have permission to use the requested scope".Current scopes reflect the documentation. If I should remove the scope parameter entirely, I'm prompted to give access to make API requests on behalf of the user. Now sufficient privileges are granted to access the account, but if I should try this a second time with the same account, I will get a significantly short access token that will not work - all requests with it return an error "The a

Hi,On my app, I noticed that I have a significant share of the visits that have no "page view" hit.On the other hand, these visits have a "custom link" hit with "custom link = ADBINTERNAL: Lifecycle".So I think that these visits are counted when someone open the app and then close it immediately, before to have a trackState event counting a page view (hence the Lifecycle but no page view).But the share among total of visits seems high ... Anyone to confirm I'm right (or not)?Also, I wonder what is the good practice in this case ... Should we count these visits without pageview in the global traffic or not? Because potentially, this has a significant influence on the conversion rate figures that I communicate!

They help traffic sources reports populate data and help filter internal traffic.A referrer, or referring page, is typically the page from which a visitor entered your site. To avoid skewing data, you can filter out internal referrers. Reports exclude filtered referrers from the Referrers Report, the Referring Domains Report, and other Finding Methods reports.The most common reason traffic sources reports don't populate data is that the Internal URL Filter List isn't defined. To check which Internal URL Filters have been set up on a report suite, follow these steps. I recently found out that to be able to connect PowerBI to Adobe, their IP addresses need to be whitelisted. They have a list of ~3700 IP addresses. Is there a way to bulk upload IP addresses for white-listing?

With AMP page tracking has come many problems for us. First is the idea of how to track this channel. We came to the conclusion we would include it in the last touch channels, by page, for anything that contains "amp".Our pressing IssueWe are finding that are some tracking issues specifically with safari. When comparing visits to sessions in GA (since we have our site tagged in GA as well) we are finding that AA shows visits & page views 5X greater than sessions specifically for Safari. We are wondering if GA is under counting visits, or if AA is over counting has anyone else experienced this issue?
