High internal sessions timeout is certainly not the kind of web analytics that you want to report to your business stakeholders. Aside from its vagueness to represent your paid digital marketing efforts, it doesn’t indicate which channel has the most impact. Despite analysts’ best efforts in tracking performance, some may fall in the cracks with the nuances of internal session timeout and direct traffic. As Salesforce noted in 2019, an average customer uses 10 channels to communicate with companies, which means the digital marketing landscape is more fragmented than ever. Therefore, Adobe Analytics comes handy in the performance marketing challenge of attribution. When using the Excel report builder, what's the best way to adjust the dates on a row-by-row basis?    Example: If a site change was made on July 7th, I run one report to get the historical data prior to the change and a second report to get the data from the date of the change to today. But I can only figure out how to set fixed dates, so all the changes on a specific date.   My goal is to have columns with varying dates and as the report builder iterates over my dataset, have different changes with corresponding dates on each row.   Any thoughts?

Hi All,  My team and I are trying to re-create the exit link report using Adobe Clickstream. Can anyone advise on how this can be done. So far our theory has consisted of finding the MAX(Visit_Page_Num) for each page where the page_event = 0, aka a pageview but this is not aligning.   

Hello everyone,   I have a report with Page Dimension and metrics Entry rate and Exit Rate applied over it.   I see a 100% entry and exit rate with the value "Unspecified". To find the root cause I broke down "unspecified" with the below dimensions and the following is what I got"   Unspecified ->Broke down with Link section -> value 'Footer' ->Broke down further with Browser -> value 'Google Chrome 104.0 ->Broke down further with Operating System Types -> value 'Apple Machintosh' ->Broke down further with Day -> Aug 23, 2022, shows the day where entry and exit rate was 100% ->Broke down the day Aug 23, 2022, with Hour of Day and it shows Entry and Exit rate 100% at 5 pm.   What do I conclude with this and how could I resolve this?

Hi All,   I have received an implementation, where I need to enable the Opt-In feature on an existing AEM website. The website has many applications (Using .NET web applications and AEM sites). When a user switches back and forth on the website, we want it to be in one visitor session. As per the recommended implementation, we need to set allow and deny on Adobe.optIn in case the User has not opted-in or opted Out. Additionally, we want the mandatory tags to be sent to the server.   I had gone through the Adobe documentation but was not able to find a proper solution. If there is any pointers or any help guide, please do share.    

Hi All,   While implementing Opt-in for one website, I need to send data to the server in both cases. Case 1: Opt-in -> All tags to be sent to the server Case 2: Not Opt-In -> Mandatory tags to be sent to the server   I am trying to manage it by allowing Adobe.OptIn.Allow in both the cases with CookieLifetime set to DEFAULT in case of Opt-In and CookieLifetime set to NONE in case of Not Opted-In.   In Case 2, the AMCV and AMCVs cookies are getting created and I can see the visitor ID is also getting created (Visitor.getInstance("<ORG_ID>").getMarketingCloudVisitorID()). I don't want the AMCV and AMCVs cookies to be created in this case and the Visitor ID should be empty. Is it possible to do that? OR any other pointers there?  

I've been analyzing audience behavior with sequential segments from Page A > Page B, and using the "Only Before/After Sequence." My question is this:   If the user journey is from Page A > Page B > Page C, how can I specify "Only After Sequence," meaning B -> C while still considering they previously came from A?

Anyone else having odd admin issues?   I'm getting quite a few user permission issues lately when trying to access Adobe Analytics Workspaces. It seems my Adobe Analytics Admin Access is being replaced with Enterprise PDF Services Developer Access and it removes my ability to do anything in the analytics platform.   Just wondering if anyone else experienced this and found a workaround. On our website, we have different content types (defined by an evar).I want to know how many instance there are of people seeing the same content type five times or more consecutively.   So let's say the content type is called widget page. How many times did people see the same content type five other times without switching to an intermediate or different content type.   I can segment the visit to include five page views of the content type, but can't get the THEN function to work to show the consecutive viewing.   thanks

Hi everyone, when I use the Activity Map overlay (same for all of my clients), it gives me a list of clicked links to a certain page. When I download this report for a whole day, I see that the percentages are calculated anyhow differently from what I expected. The description says: So, I thought 10 out of 100 total clicks in the list (100 should be the total of my clicks from this page) means 10%, but it's always lower. For me, clicks is a metric i can sum up. Unfortunately, I can't attach files, but in my export from yesterday there's a sum of 3'613 clicks, the first item has 832, and Activity Map says it's 18.95%. It's definitely not, 832/3613*100 is 23.02%. Does one of you know, why percentages are calculated wrong?

Dear Everyone, I am trying to explore the use cases for Adobe Analytics & Marketo Integration. There are a few basic questions and since I don't have Marketo Access, I am not sure about the answers. Can anyone shed your thoughts? 1. Can we share Adobe Analytics Segments from Adobe Analytics to Marketo? Is that been enabled? 2. Do we have any direct integration to share the Adobe Analytics data to Marketo i.e. Server-side mappings expect APIs or data export options? 3. What are the typical use cases for sharing the segments from Adobe Analytics to Marketo? Hi all,    with my team we implemented the Analytics solition via AEP SDK (i mean we don't use directly the analytics extension but in the Launch property we use only AEP Edge Network Extension and in the chosen datastream we enable analytics).   My question is: if i want to see the lifeCycle metrics in the analytics report do we need further implementation?  

Hi Everyone   As we're trying to onboard a few data sets for our clients onto Customer Journey Analytics, we realized that XDM DateTime fields are not supported for import via the data view - they simply are not selectable within the interface.   Is there any reason for this as this type of field is critical for other applications within AEP (e.g., AJO) we cannot populate dates as simple strings…any thoughts on this? Thank you in advance.

When website tags show up on Adobe analytics like in the image attached, does it mean: 1) The person has landed on the particular page,     OR 2) Gone passed the particular page?   Does the answer to my question depend on how you have set up your tag?

Hi,   We had an implementation glitch where the page name dimension only captured part of the path.   After some reserach realized another dimension captured the hit correctly.   have created a hit level combined dimension - but now the average time per visit metric is very different.    Question can we use a non page dimension to get  at Time spent per visit metric.   Thoughts   Thx SM_AP1
