Adobe Analytics

Hi All,    Currently, we have observed that our website has 2 different ".min.js" files under the "assets.adobedtm.com" on our homepage and on our sales funnel pages. However, when we check on the Adobe Experience Debugger, it is just calling the using the same production environment.    Homepage:   Sales Funnel:   Due to this setup, we found out that the changing of Adobe launch embed codes in the  Adobe Experience debugger is not working.    We would like to ask your advise on how we can improve this that we may able to change the environments we have on the Adobe Experience Debugger since the DTM switch does not work anymore.   Thanks in advance!

Hi,   I wanted to know when exactly Adobe Analytics starts to define what a visit is Is it the first hit? For eg. For App, I am assuming first hit will be app launch event not necessary that a page should load. But for Desktop and Msite, we don't have app launch event, in this case the first hit might be page-load. Is this understanding right or we have a different event firing up?

Hi,   Every month, the marketing team produces monthly marketing materials promoting various products (around 200-300). Is it possible to upload a CSV to create a segment with these product values instead of manually adding this in?   Thanks, David

I'm working for a retail company which selling products both online and offline. I want to import the offline sales in Adobe Analytics as well. But all of the sales data are only recorded in an excel file at this moment. And this report is provided to us monthly.   We do not need to track anything, no transaction id, no product, but total sales volume and revenue only which can be summed up to online sales as a monthly report.     Here would be the example of the offline sales data excel sheet:   Item                 Price              Qty Sneakers A     $100usd           1 Gloves B         $20usd             2 Backpack        $200usd           1      ........   Do you have any ideas to do this? I'm trying to identify the number of visits it takes to convert for a particular asset. To achieve this, I've created a Sequential Segment with the following logic:   Segment scope: Visitor, Only after sequence Visit Number = 1 THEN Page Type = Conversion [Hit]   I've measured this segment by Visits/Visitor   Is this the right approach?    

I would like to ask that would GAID(google advertising ID) affect the tracking of Adobe Analytics? if so, how will it work? Thanks advance!

Hi all! We are working on a Facebook campaign started on August 9th. We reviewd data from August 9th to August 29th. During this date range we get around 175.000 clicks to our site from Facebook, but in Adobe Analytics we get around 39.000 visits, coming from the campaing we launched. Also, if we check total visits to site, we have around 41.000 visits and around 43.000 pageviews in total. Site was created and focus on campaing we created, so it's expected not to have organic visits. The thing is, even if we focus in total pageviews, there are huge discrepancies between clicked ads in Facebook and our data in Analytics. The site is for Latin America, so this is not related to cookies consent, because cookies are enabled for all users. Does any one with similar issues? Any clue could helps to clarify what is happening?

Hey All!! Im back with another bizarre find from our data warehouse!    Whats a Visit_num = 0 or a Visit_pagenumber = 0 ?? Finding millions of these starting early may 2022. Pretty sure its all Mobile App traffic from Android devices if that helps?

Hi,  I've just updated Firefox to the newest version, and I get the error above when loading my website with Launch deploying the Analytics extension (based on OneTrust consent management). This error prevents the beacon to be sent. It looks like the error comes from the last line of the main Analytics (_satellite) JS library.   Anyone experiencing the same ?  

Hi all, I want to make sure I have a full understanding of how and when a page view is calculated. Does the count of a page view require someone to have spent a certain number of  seconds on the page or to have scrolled a specific amount such as 20% of the page. How does this differ for bounce vs single page visit definitions? Thank you!

Hi,Q1 ) I was trying to Browser import a classification (well within 1 MB) but I got the following error :  Could this be due to that fact that my file format is not correct ? Is there a way to valudate the classification file before upload?   Q2 ) I made some changes to the file, and import again but navigated away from the import page and now I can't track the status of browser import, is there a way to track it? (Did not put email notification or download file when import completes)       

I have few dimensions in which the unique value limit of 500,000 is crossed within a month and a lot of information is within Low-Traffic bucket. 1. If I raise a client care request to increase it to 1milllion what will be the additional cost for this? 2. Is 1 million the only next threshold or it can be increased beyond this?   Thanks Parm

What are Segments? To understand containers, we must first review what segments are. Segments are categories that your visitors are assigned based on certain behaviors or attributes. This lets you focus on a specific segment in a specific way, and another segment in a different way, allowing for a higher level of targeted interaction. According to Adobe Experience League, segments can be based on:   Visitors based on attributes: browser type, device, number of visits, country, gender. Visitors based on interactions: campaigns, keyword search, search engine. Visitors based on exits and entries: visitors from Facebook, a defined landing page, referring domain. Visitors based on custom variables: form field, defined categories, customer ID.   These segments are then further broken down into containers, which are based on a Visitor, Visits, and Hits. I have some pages with multi products on them. I want to use s.products using the data layer as mentioned at the end of the documentation https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/analytics/implementation/vars/page-vars/products.html?lang=en    Right now I am using a variable called line instead of s.products in the custom code and storing the values.   This custom code I have used to create a data element and mapped it to eVar in a DOM-ready rule to trigger this eVar for each page load.    But I want to classify my products now and want to use products variable. How can I utilize s.products here? When trying to replace the variable line (in the above screenshot) with s.products, I am getting an error in the developer console log: Uncaught ReferenceError: s is not defined  I want to understand how in the debugger I will see the product variable? How the reporting will look like? 

Hi, I am trying to use Classification Importer to update a new mapping as a subclassification to a child classification of an evar To get that, I am first trying to get a template of the format :  KEY PROPERTY 1 Property 1^Property 1-1 I am not aware of all key values for the evar so trying FTP export which usually takes a long time. Now, although the evar (key values column) is low_traffic_evar, I only need a subset of the evar values that have a specific format. Q. Instead of FTP export of classification to get all key values, can I just filter for the subset key values in Omniture workspace and download the filtered values directly (using Download Items as CSV feature) would that cover all the required keys I am looking for?

Hi,  I want to create a segment about people that seen page A then page B and after exit.I used the new panel available in Analytics : 'Next or previous item' to create the segment automatically but so I have only page A then page B. So it looks like that:   First container is on hit level and the second group is on visit with the option 'Only After sequence'.It works but I still have to define the fact that page B has to be the last one of the visit. So I added the exit page has to be page B and I don't won't to have any page view after: Segment gives me result but when I want to check it thanks to a flow, I see it's not acting as I want. Do you have any idea what I'm missing? Thanks a lot for your help   Robin  

Hi Community,   I have a challenging segmentation requirement. I'm wanting to analyse user behaviour (hits) prior to a specific event. As an example, if a visitor has created an account, I only want to see their activity up to that point, filtering out any subsequent hits/visits.   I started down sequentials, but it doesn't seem like the right solution. Any thoughts or experience with a similar requirement?

Hi all. Nice to e-meet you all. I started working with Adobe Analytics and with Adobe Data Feeds Extraction more precisely. My idea is that I would like to "translate" a Segment definition from Adobe Analytics to our database where we have storaged Adobe Data Feed using SQL. As I said, I have a segment with (a lot of) filters. Most of them are related with evars and prop, but some of them are related with out-of-the-box metrics. My question arrises because I don't how could I "detect" these metrics inside Data Feeds. Could you please help me?: - First Launches: Don't find any event/field related with that,  - Single Page Visits: Should I apply any logic in the data through the visit_num and visit_page_num? - Orders: I assumed that the Event is Purchase (1) so in the event_list field should appear 1 (LIKE '%1%') There are a few more, but these are the most important (for now). Is there any place where I could find the relationships between out of the box metrics and Adobe Data Feed
