Why would the Adobe Default "All Visits" segment result in a different count of "Unique Visitors" and "Visits" vs using "Page Dimension" and "Unique Visitors" and "Visits"?   

The report suite id that we are using is  “eycomglobalproduction”. Though we were able to create a sample report in the adobe Datawarehouse (using this ID) with the required  “custom elements”, while we try to access the required custom elements through API we are facing issues right now.  We use the below API to find the id’s corresponding to the elements:   https://api.omniture.com/admin/1.4/rest/?method=Report.GetElements&reportType=warehouse&reportSuiteID=eycomglobalproduction But we are not able to find the name of these custom elements in that API response without which we cant proceed with the automation   Area (User) , Sub area (User) , Service Line (User), Sub Service Line (User) , Country (User), Rank (User), Experience Cloud Visitor ID.   Request your assistance in resolving this issue ASAP.  

Hi,   We have integrated AEM Insights to track the asset clicks and impressions from AEM. I can see the events are firing when I refresh the page with images and clicking the images which had links. But this data is not updating immediately on the analytics side. Is there any setting needs to be updated on the report suites to get real time data?   I am experiencing below error on some occasions. would like to know what could be the cause for this. Uncaught TypeError: window.assetAnalytics.dispatcher.s.tl is not a function at pagetracker.js:314:72   Your assistance is highly appreciated.   Thanks, Raja  

Let's say I want to get a breakdown of which marketing channels were attributed to a pageview for page x.   Let's also pretend that I have a custom event set up to fire for each pageview of that same page (page x), and then want to see what the marketing channel breakdown looks like on that metric.   Conceptually the pageview metric and my custom event metric (the pretend pageview metric) are the same'ish thing right? At least on the surface.   But what would account for such a large discrepancy in the numbers reported against either scenario. Specifically, I am seeing "Paid search" getting a lot of volume in the first scenario, while in the second scenario I am seeing a lot of 'Referring domain' volume instead (where I would have expected it to remain consistent with the first scenario.   Any ideas on what might account for the differences here? 

Q1) Does enabling Hit batching allows Analytics calls to queue both Online and Offline calls?Q2) Does Hit batching reduces Adobe API server calls volume (not tracking calls volume)? (Would it save money on Adobe, as we have a limit to the number of server calls per year as part of the contract.)Q3) Can i have a daily cronjob to force send any queued hits? If yes, How?Q4) Can I restrict Hit batching to certain screens on the Mobile Apps? If yes, how?   

I am building a dashboard where we'd like the end user to only have view-only access (we don't want them to have the ability to add visuals or manipulate them, duplicate-access isn't an option).  However, we'd like them to still be able to use the calendar selector, filters like narrowing down to URL strings, and the Quick Insights section. When we restrict to view-only, these features get disabled.  Is there a way to modify the features that are disabled?Thank you! 

What is the limit of items in a workspace filter drop-down menu? I am trying to include 1000+ which is not working for me.  Thanks!

I did integrate Adobe Analytics with Adverity tool through Adobe I/OBut, On successful integration, only one report suite appears in the filter in Adverity tool. How can I enable the other report suites also to appear in Adverity through this integration.

What is the difference between a page view and a product view when looking at a products report. Shouldn't they be the same when looking at a specific product?

Hi all,   There is an Adobe Analytics extension in the 'actions' part of a rule that allows for setting variables, sending a beacon, and clearing variables.   There seems to be a bit of confusion in my team whether to set the variables first, send beacons next, and then clear variables or to clear variables first, then set variables, and then beacon.   I am a bit new to this field so I am not sure but could someone clarify which is the correct order and more importantly why?   Thanks!

Hi. I need to merge two workspace projects. I have tried duplicating a panel (and visualization) and when I get to the other project (in a different window) the 'insert copied panel' option isn't available. Has anyone successfully merged two projects? If so... how? Thanks! jodi

Hello, Our org came with up an invented metric called "engaged visits". Visits minus Bounces.   I ignore it because it's invented and our site UX leaves a lot to be desired - which makes "engagement" an even more difficult read than it is to begin with.   It seems this invented "engaged visits" is a vanity metric that is unnecessary and can be misleading (particularly when lead gen is tied to it). People are hung up on it; they think it proves engagement, or maybe even more. I thought Visits were already "engaged".   Question: Are there better, more straightforward - not invented - Adobe Analytics components / combinations of components we can use besides the scenario described above? What are some best practice ways to gauge "engagement" on a website?   Thank you, Bryan

    Is it possible to increase segment publishing more than 75? In this screenshot it says 300 of 75 and what does it mean ? Does it mean even the limit is 75 still it is published and can be used in experience cloud and other tools? How can it be 318 when the limit is 75?    

I don’t want an alert on a specific value in a prop, but rather for the whole prop itself, like if prop1 stops firing on the site.Let’s say prop 1 contains the values below (plus 100 more values as well).  I’d want to be notified when any of them is ‘below or equals’ 10 in the alert settings.  It is too time consuming to set up an alert for each item in the prop. I also tried putting that prop in workspace and right-clicking to ‘create an alert’ from selection but it pulled up the alert manager with the ‘anomaly exists’ selector instead of “below or equals” selector and it’s also too time consuming to change each one.We can do this with eVars by using the green/metric "instances" of that eVar. Would like to be able to do the same with props.HomepageCarpageSearchAccount456…100

Hi, I'm connecting Adobe analytics to Power BI (have also checked pbi forum - someone referred me here). I want to filter items on import (otherwise dataset is too large). I want to include two values for "Marketing Channel 1D MR". How do I duplicate a workspace dashboard from one Organization to another in Adobe Analytics?We have separate organizations for different Geo regions. I am creating similar dashboards for each of these regions. However, when the dashboards are large, it would save time to directly duplicate it in another organization. Is there way to do this?
