Adobe Analytics

Hi,We have an app design with single activity and multiple fragments. Each fragment has its own lifecycle so, onResume() function will be called multiple times when user navigates and interacts with the app. This might report false crashes. The crash tracking at our end is done via crashlytics. Is there a more targeted way to tag the lifecycle/parent of just the views? https://aep-sdks.gitbook.io/docs/resources/upgrading-to-aep/manual-lifecycle-implementation

I uploaded a classification file with values 12 hours back but it shows some values as unknown. In classification file the value is available but in report it shows unknown. I even tried reuploading classification file with "Overwrite data on conflicts" but it didnt work. What can be the reason?

Hi all,  Not sure if anyone had the same issue as mine - recently we had an update for page names so I created a segment with both the new and old page names combined. However, under the same metrics, they are showing a huge difference for Bounce Rate and Average Time on Site. New segment with both new and old page names New and old page names separate                            PS: segment is set up at Hit level, no filter is added Please comment if you ever had the same issue and how should I fix it. Thanks a lot.

Hello, I have set up Adobe Analytics on the site, but when I go backwards on the site, I get multiple page loads happening. (like twice or thrice apart from the main event + page load , which I believe should happen only once). Can someone guide me on how to fix this? Thanks.

On our website we have a page that iframes another page on a different domain name than main website.  We are using the latest versions of VisitorAPI (4.6.0) and AppMeasurement (2.20.0) on both the main website page and the iframed page on a different domain name.  We have noticed only in Safari that a new ECID is generated for the iframed page which splits the visit.  We have attempted to use the whitelistParentDomain and whitelistIframeDomains configurations (https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/id-service/using/id-service-api/configurations/whitelistdomain.html) for VisitorAPI in the iframed window but this still is not working and we are seeing a new ECID generated for the iframed window in Safari.  We have also attempted to use the appendVisitorIDsTo function (https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/id-service/using/id-service-api/methods/appendvisitorid.html) while dynamically/lazy loading the form iframe but a new ECID is generated in Saf

How to create segment to find visitors who visited the site only thrice?

Hi all, I've been having a hard time understanding how nesting containers within a segment works in Adobe analytics. It makes sense to me when the "Top container" is a Visit or a Visitor container, but what I'm having trouble understanding the logic behind having the "Top container" as a HIT while the nested container as a Visit or Visitor.Creating a "Breakdown fallout at this touchpoint" segment from a fallout chart creates the segment below, which shows the immediate HIT after fallout at a certain touchpoint. it would be great if somebody explained the logic to me, and how it can be appended to show all the pages viewed after fallout not just the immediate Hit. Thanks !!!

Hi there, I've an issue I can't solve on Adobe Workspace. Any help would be appreciated! What I have : a pageView hit with s.products and prodView event (hit A). a customLink with a fixed value when a button is clicked (hit B). What I want is to segment on all the hits A that are followed by a hit B, in order to seen what products trigger the more use on that button. Though I've tried but I can't figure it out with the sequence segments, I can't segment at a hit-level, only at a visit-level and so I get prodViews which are not relevant in my segment. Many thanks!Alex

Hi! Any reason why I can't see the audience name/Id dimensions under the dimensions list on adobe analytics?anything I need to do?

Hi,  I have a lot screens and I want to know if there is a way to add freeform to help in making it easy to track those pages?

Hi, i would like to ask what is the best approach for Asset Insight config on AEM.In particular what user should i select in the Insight configuration modal for Analytics? Thank you in advance

What is the typical discrepancy % between Adobe Analytics visit numbers and Google Analytics sessions when both are used on a site?We recently added Adobe Analytics to a site that was using Google Analytics as its primary analytics. Trying to understand the discrepancy between AA visits and GA sessions.  Any insight would be appreciated!

There seems to be a bug in the two new Workspace panels. The dimension item available is only limited to the default that found in the dropdown list(top 25?).  Same issue with other dimension, the dimension item is only limited to those default option. A page name can be dragged as a dimension item, however it will be reverted to default pageName in a few seconds. Most users of Adobe Analytics have more than 25 pages... We should be able to search and drag desired target page. Any workarounds?

Hi,From our user registration form we capture user dates and brought this field into Customer Journey Analytics (CJA). Does anyone have a solution on how to segment these into age ranges/buckets (20-30, 30-40, ...) in CJA or AA?Thank You!

Hi, I'm trying to do research on different analytics programs and I was wondering what Adobe could offer for improving my site search.I am struggling to find information about adobe analytics's site search SEO program in the product description. If there is help with SEO, could someone describe what it offers and send a screenshot or something? Thanks!

I have a "crazy" problem. In one of my report suites there is a variable, that has - in fact - no source. Tracking is organized via Launch, but the respective evar is not filled by any rule nor by the global variables in Adobe Analytics extension.2nd I checked the processing rules. NO Rule there.... and the filling can only come from Launch - because it is in fact from a peace of javaskript code (activeElement.innerText).... the thing is - it must be from somewhere...but? I am quite sure, that the filling comes from "former times" - but the respective launch version has been replaced long ago (at least 6 months) - and there have been several new publishings since then, where the respective evar was not filled anymore.... how come?

Hi,We are using DataSource.Upload to insert 1000 records in Adobe analytics. While processing data in AA, some exception occurred due to special character in record 702, because of this request failed and returned exceptions. But 701 records processed successfully and inserted in DataSource in AA. After that, we fixed issue in upstream and rerun the job for the same day and job succeed. In AA dashboard, we are getting duplicate count for first 701 records due to rerun of same job. I want to delete first 701 records so that I won't get duplicate record in my dashboard, may I know how can I delete record for a particular day? or any other way to fix this issue? Thanks in advance!

Hi,Has anyone encountered a scenario, where one single device (desktop)  is reported to have accounted for thousands of Unique Visitors, reported for a single page,  in a day? What this device could be? And what is it doing?

Is there a guide which says when to use evar or prop when creating segment?

Hi Adobe Peeps!I can't seem to schedule a ftp for my report as the schedule a report for delivery option is no longer available under More. There use to be "More>Send" but it seems to have disappeared.. So please how do I schedule my report?  Regards

Hello all, I know this question has been asked before, but I didn't get the clarity I needed by going through those threads. The question I have is, how do I create a segment of users who viewed the same page on multiple visits. I have added two screenshots to show two segments that I think should have given the same results, but ended up being very different. (which screenshot is the correct implementation?)I would also like to ask, how to I create the segments in a way where they're mutually exclusive, meaning, excluding the people who viewed the page on 2 distinct  visits from the segment where I users viewed the page on 3 distinct visits (to avoid counting users twice),

Hi all,  is there any way to prevent users from view/edit the FTP Account created for the Classification importer? the only thing to do is to unable permissions in the user account of the product?  i'm asking to understand if there is a better way to secure this info. Thanks.

Hi, I am currently using the Adobe Client Data Layer to collect my page data. I am able to see the collected data when I type "window.adobeDataLayer", but when I use "adobeDataLayer.getState()", it shows me an empty array without any page data:   I know that is because I used the following method to pass the data to adobeDataLayer, instead of the push method (adobeDataLayer.push()):  So I am quite confused, since using this method I am able to see the collected data when "window.adobeDataLayer", but not "adobeDataLayer.getState()", what are the differences between these two? And is this the right way to store the data in adobeDataLayer? Is it a must to use the adobeDataLayer.push() method? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Hi all, I would like to know about what Bounce is and understand what happen to my data.According to Adobe Analytics documents, Bounce is the number of visits that contained exactly one hit.It means if when Visitors visits a website page (e.g. Home page), Two server calls, one is page views call and the other is Custom link, are fired, it should not be a bounce. However my website is exactly same with this, but Bounce rate shows almost 50%.To make sure, I tested it and document is right. (when paged loaded, 2 server calls are fired, analytics not caught it as a bounce) result of my test) Page Load test event = when page is loaded  Is there any way to ignore Custom link call not counted as bounce?maybe because of variables?  Thanks for your help in advanced.
