Adobe Analytics

Hi all,  Not sure if a similar question is already available but I'm not able to find a solution to this.  In my Adobe analytics report, I'm trying to create a sequential segmentation for two different Adobe Launch property (it is a web app, with two tag properties mobile sdk and web launch property) I would like to calculate successful login by using landing page. So, the login page is sitting on the app but upon login, it will redirect to a mobile in app browser. The login page is using mobile sdk property (For this, the event page and button click event are tagged) while the mobile in app browser landing page is using launch property (not web sdk).  When creating a segment for the login page (event page and login button clicks), the value that I'm getting is 40k for unique visitors. However, when I did a sequential segmentation together with the landing page, the value dropped to 80 unique visitors.  The unique visitors just for landing page alone amounts to 140k

Hello,   I was wondering what is the best way to break up a multiple value eVar to do analysis on it? Would it be using "|" dividers? For example, if I had an active, expired, and total values I wanted attributed, could I do an example eVar value as "1 | 3 | 4", where 1 is active, 3 is expired, and 4 is total (expired + active)? Would there be a functional feature in segments in adobe workspace that could easily break up those evars into bucketed values?   Thanks.

Dear Members, I am getting huge percentage of percent page viewed value under “unspecified”. Beacon looks good to me. Value of percent page viewed is set correctly in the beacon. While analyzing it further, I am not finding any page where all the values of percent page viewed is coming as 'unspecified' so it means the tracking is working fine, but there are cases where it is not getting set(As per analytics data) and I don't know why? Not sure if AA is not able to collect this information correctly, need your expertise on the possible root cause of the issue.    Thanks. 

I am checking the numbers in the Analysis Workspace for the end of Report &Analytcs, but I am having trouble because the linear distribution is very different. This is a problem that can be resolved by reviewing the following documentation athttps://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/analytics/components/calculated-metrics/calcmetric-workflow/m-metric-type-alloc.html?lang= enIn Reports & Analytics, if no value is passed on the first hit of a visit, the (initial) value is retained from the previous visit; in Workspace (Attribution IQ), this is not the case. If no value is passed on the first hit of the visit, "None" will be the initial value.I understand that this is the difference between the two specifications However, if this is the case, there will be a difference between the previous values created in Report & Analytics and those in Workspace, which will have to be used after Report & Analytics is closed, so we won't be able to compare year over year, etc. I strongly h

I am trying to look what country the website is getting its traffic from. A trend that I see is Everyday if there 700 visits, and we break it down by "Country" Dimension, 653 visits are for the value "Unspecified" and rest are "USA, Canada". I want to understand what is that "Unspecified" traffic.

Hi, I just came across this problem when I downloaded a daily CSV report and noticed that the Total Sum of "Visits" and "Unique Visitors" did not match. E.g I downloaded a CSV report with 50000 rows and summed up every column, everything else matches except Visits and Unique Visitors. I want to know what is causing the differences.

When going to the Tools > Data Warehouse page or the Admin > Exclude By IP page, we no longer see the report suite dropdown in the top right of the page. This prevents us from knowing what report suite we are using and changing to others. Is this a known issue currently?      

Hi Adobe Analytics Experts  There are around 90 pages and when we average the time on sheet for Avg Time on Site or Page Views/Visit it does not match The Average time on site  doesnt tally when we export it and average it , same with Page views/visitAny insight into it would be very helpful, Thanks  

How can I retrieve the tags from a specific user session? Suppose I set a tag in my mobile app tag as 'com.company.user.session' value as 'someUserSessionId';   Then is there an API, that can be utilized to retrieve all other tags of the user, that were set during user's journey. In input parameter to that API I want to use, above mentioned tag & its value. And in response it should return all the other tags information for this user's session.   Please let me know, this is very important for an upcoming analytic business engagement with my organization.

We have a critical situation. We have an external data warehouse where we track all our online ecommerce purchases with purchase ID directly from website and at the same time we track all purchases in adobe analytics as well with same Purchase ID. But when we compare total purchases of adobe analytics with the purchases captured in external data warehouse the adobe numbers are way less which mean many Purchase IDs are missing in adobe. We checked multiple test orders and the tracking is fine. What could be the issue? 

Hi there,    Apologies if this has been asked before.   I'm looking for a way to add date ranges into a metric I am trying to calculate - When I try to natively go straight into "Metrics it doesn't offer date ranges"   Does that mean I will need to great a segment first to include the date range there and then pull that into the metric    I.e Vists (today) - Visits (Yesterday) = number   Thanks in advance

Hi,  I am trying to capture some Mobile App data for the telecom I work for.    In order to track the number of Unique Visitors (UV's)on a particular section, I am trying to use the metric App Event Data, I am a bit confused around Screen Name and Click title metrics as well and trying to figure out which metric would describe the flow better. I want to see the UV's clicking on a native CTA and then either completing the transaction or exiting. Any help would be appreciated.  

Hi Folks,   Currently, I am working on one problem statement where in my organization we have suddenly started getting drop in visits for a specific segment from a specific date for one of the mobile app.   We have the adobe mobile SDK integrated into the app to capture the data in adobe analytics, and we completely rely on processing rules to process the context variables, then further store the data in traffic or conversion variables.   Now, for the initial problem statement in hand, The first step was to be sure that the segment which is applied to pull out the report has some logical change because of visit might have been dropped.  The segment is pretty straightforward, it only applies the filter on one traffic variable containing the value specific to the app name. We are using AEP frameworks for our iOS apps, we can see the traces logs in the Xcode console which is good. During development we are not much concerned about connection to adobe we just wants to see the analytics logs to verify if data we are sending are correct or not.but along with analytics logs it also prints bunch of continuous errors related to configuration file which makes console flooded with it and then it is difficult to find the correct logs. Hello, We are building a fully native mobile app that will utilize a virtual report suite that inherits the marketing channel processing rules of the base report suite (our web platform). With an iOS app, you can leverage universal links which redirects visit directly to the corresponding deep link in your mobile app.  My question concerns how do marketing channel processing rules interpret this visit? If I come through a promotional email that would normally append UTM parameters on the landing page url to be processed and bucketed, but now since I have the app installed I am redirected to the deep link, will the UTM parameters still be processed and bucketed accordingly? Or will the parameters be ignored as I never hit the web platform, rather I am redirected to the app?  My assumption is they would be processed and I would simply apply the evar that we are using to segment the mobile app virtual report suite to analyze how users get to the app? 1. Why I cannot see "Average session length" from Adobe Analytics Workspace? 2. "Average session length"  will exclude the session duration on Background and continue the count until users return to the app? 3. Can I get the hit data which is triggered when users move to background, for both workspace and data warehouse raw data? 4. Similar to average time on site, it will not count the last hit because there is no end time until session timeout. This become meaningless. Is it correct?   Thank you for your great help.

Hi all,   I am trying to extract how many leads generated on Homepage using Fallout and Freeform, but the results do not match up - Fallout: It's obvious that 25 Leads were generated, which I think these are the ones who haved visited the Homepage, visited the tool and then converted to lead. Here the Freeform result: Page visits and tool visits match but showing 0 leads.    I understand Segments in Freeform acts like a filter, but logically It should show some leads. Am I just missing something or is it technical problem?
