Just out of curiosity: does anyone know where the abbreviation CID and ICMP stand for?

I appreciate any help the group can provide.   I'm interested in a method to identify the price of an individual item within an order total and then return the number of orders where the item in order was $x.   We have items generally for sale on the site, but depending on a promo code applied, discount, etc. that individual item could be $19.99 in the cart or sell for $24.99 for example. Even though the order total could include accessories, warranty, and assembly I'd like to know if the SPECIFIC ITEM in the order sold for $19.99 or not.   Custom segment, metric using a canned formula, other ideas?

Due to some implementation glitch we didn't track around 1000s of Orders in adobe analytics. Is there a way to import it something like classification? I know we can do classification but the issue is we have lots of variables tracked on product purchase. 

@saraheowen Hi Sarah, Hope you are doing well! I have gone through your answers for the questions which was posted intended to analytics and it helps plenty of people around the world to resolve so many issues w.r.t analytics implementation. In my case client is leveraging AEMaaCS (CMS) and have been requested us to implement Adobe Client Data Layer as they are creating pages using core components. We started implementing using ACDL on rules via Adobe Launch but when we tested tags are firing twice whenever we click on the respective functionalities (CTA, Top Navigation, Sub Navigation etc...) we've examined the issues but unfortunately we couldn't fix it. Would request your expertise assistance on the below issues which we are finding challenges to resolve it. Thanks in advance!Srini

Background: We have a session ID that concatenates ECID+ a data layer variable + Date & Timestamp: 23605613089604234583067550836421046746|0|2023|9:20 26   When checking the data we are seeing some inconsistencies: 1) Half of the data is not pulling in the ECID -  2) Some data is pulled into the data with the data - element name  3) the remaining half of the data looks correct.    ______________________________________________________ Now for my question When I create a segment [Visitor container] - and filter using "Does not Start with" - It still shows me data starting with what I am trying to filter out.  The opposite is also true when I try to segment the data by "Starts with" - It shows me data      As you can see the data is not being segmented correctly. I have checked by using "HIT" level container but the idea behind the session ID is that its for visitors.  Any advice would be useful here.   

Is it possible to get all the values in the highlighted screenshot(including dimension breakdowns and their respective Pageviews and Visits values) using Adobe Analytics Reporting API 2.0? I am looking to obtain multiple metrics and dimensions breakdown using a single JSON code.(A one time code that runs and obtains all the values) Seems like itemId attribute has to be obtained individually for each step. (From the Bug Symbol from AA workspace). I am referring to the article https://developer.adobe.com/analytics-apis/docs/2.0/guides/endpoints/reports/breakdowns/ but it has an example where only the nested value can be obtained.(i.e. Cities : Lehi)

From the topic "Visit Expiration - Mobile App", we learned that the visit definition is based on Adobe Analytics Server's calculation and we could customize it via Virtual Report Suite, as below, https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-analytics-questions/visit-expiration-mobile-app/m-p/383464#M3969   However, I cannot find Virtual Report Suite. When I go to Admin> Report suite > Create new report suite. I  cannot see any option to create Virtual Report Suite as well. How can I re-definite the visit for mobile app tracking by myself? Hello, If I use last touch channel attribution, I visited website first from Paid search and second last one from SEO then from last touch point of view, first visit will be counted in Paid search or SEO?

Hello, I am using adobe data feed raw data and building the visitor_id as per adobe documentation (Concatenate post_visid_high and post_visid_low)I have noticed anyway that some visitor_id have multiple broswer, os and mobile_id (I believe they all come from the user_agent). How does adobe workspace handle this? I assume it uses the most recent value? I remember there was some documentation about this aspect but I can't find it anymore. Thanks, Davide

In Adobe Analytics dashboard, when I created the dashboard and click the scheduled icon, a new window will pop up and then I could schedule it to the users. But now nothing happened when click on it. Who knows why. Thanks.  

Hi, We're looking at using our Adobe Analytics data piped directly into Tableau, using Cognetik's data connector;(Tableau Now Loves Cloud Data | Cognetik Cloud Connector).Which appears to work perfectly up to the point of bringing this in as a data source (connects to report suite, even returns the query into the preview pane), however when it comes to importing this we receive an error that indicates this has been blocked by our firewall.I've spoken to Cognetik who said this won't be their connection information, but rather Adobe, where the API will be sourced from.In order to whitelist this connection, our team need the following information;service: Should be something like TCP-447 or UDP-425 etc.source: would usually be an ip address so 101.200.200.150 or a domain name so cognetik.services.com etc (edited)destination: same as for source just a different addressWhere would I go about finding this info so I can provide it to the team?Thanks in advance,Chris

Hello All,   We are a very large organization and have a lot of sites. Currently, we have a need to be able to see how many pages (approx.) are contained within a site so that we can better understand a percentage of how many pages are actually being used by visitors. We have custom dimensions where we can see all of the pages within the site, but that requires us first to drill down. This might be a long shot, but does anyone know of a way to create a custom metric that returns the number of pages that are on a site? Or possibly the number of a dimension items found within that segment or dimension? All ideas are welcome, thank you!

Hi, I am trying to add metrics to a schedule report already, I'm able to locate it under "Scheduled reports" to edit the emails, delivery dates ect. although when I try locating it under scheduled projects, workspace or dashboard I'm unable to locate it that report. Where would I be able to locate this report to add more data. 

Hello All,   Does anyone have any insights into the difference between putting a dimension as the starting point of the Flow chart vs. Contains (mid-point?). I assumed that if a dimension item (in this case a custom dimension focused on a specific site), is placed as a starting point then it would show path views from those visitors who entered and started their visit within that dimension item.    However, if I compare two charts, one where the dimension item is placed as the starting point and one where the dimension item is placed in "contains", the number of entries and path views are significantly more for the one where it just "contains" the dimension item. I'm assuming I'm not understanding how the flow diagram works? Or maybe it's just our custom dimension? If anyone has any insights that be very much appreciated. Thank you!  

for one of page in application, report is showing 0 page views and 0 unique visitors but it shows some value for average time spent on this page. can you help why it is 0 views.   Updating Media  

Hello,    I'm assisting a team with a possible issue they are trying to solve. They're wanting to do is pass various data fields (client id; tenant id, etc) from the their website (which sends a Transactional Message) via URL. They are hoping the data configured in the URL can be sent directly to Adobe Analytics.    Example: https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/[clientid/[tenantId]    I think you can pass the URL as part of the CTX into Adobe Campaign, but my client is wondering is it a way for that data to go directly into Adobe Analytics for Reporting. In Adobe Campaign - this data would somehow be collected as part of the Click data that's capture by the Tracking logs.    Is there any material you can point me too to assist with this request?  

The Problem When comparing our digital advertising metrics from the ad agency adserver against our Adobe Analytics campaign reports – Adobe Analytics is significantly higher.  Ad clicks should be in line with visits within a reasonable degree – and trend similarly.  They are not even close in our comparisons - with Adobe out pacing Ad metrics by a wide margin.  In investigating possible technical reasons for this difference we uncovered Online Ad & Email systems “Prefetch” actions a possible culprit.  If these systems are generating a prefetch site visit in Adobe Analytics without the Adserver recording a click – that could be an issue for Adobe Analytics and all website trackers.  It’s similar to a bot without any other site engagement.  It would greatly inflate visits and bounce rates with the artificial visit.   Has anyone seen site prefetching as an issue or solutioned a way to mitigate the problem?     Prefetching is when content is

Hi everyone. In my company I was requested to implement Adobe Analytics on mobile, using the correspondent SDK. So far, I have been able to connect it properly, but I am unaware on how is the process of sending data from the app to AA. I have been using Launch for mobile settings, and I am aware that for mobile that is not the way, but I think I do not fully understand what to do next.  When tagging events and sending them through the code in the app would be enough for Adobe to retrieve them? How do I map metrics and dimensions from these? Or what needs to be done from the Adobe side to make it happen? Is it through a schema and a datastream?   In my web applications, I have a dataLayer with information about the app's name and team it belongs to.
