We are trying to calculate our MAU, and for that, we are considering unique visitors and filtering it with "excluding 1st visit" segment: However, I'm seeing a different number when I look a single month and with many months:Feb only   January until today The Feb values are different when looking at the month alone and looking at it with other months included. Why? If I don't use the segment, this difference doesn't happen.Thanks in advance

I am trying to build a segment of visitors that visited us in the last 30 days and to find out how many of them visited the app in the months before.    I.E If we were to use today's date as reference Mar 13, I want to segment a group of unique visitors that visited us from Feb 11 - Mar 13, and find out how many of them visited us in Jan too.    I tried building the segment using visitor in last 30 days date range but it will only return visitors for last 30 days, and I am not able to find out how many of them visited us in Jan. Thank you!

Hi all,   I am trying to enable activity map. Have followed the 3 steps as well.   The App measurement code is also updated with the latest version. Enabled the Activity Map reports too, still cannot see any data.   It's already in the production env., and later I have enabled activity map, so do I need to reshare the launch script again?   Additionally, I'm little unsure if any script or code needs to be placed by the developer in the website code as well apart from the launch script?      

We are using 2 report suites, one for our dev environment and the other for production. We want to be able to create and test our segments in the dev report suite and then copy it over to the production report suite. I wasn't able to find an option to copy the segment to another report suite.Is this possible? or do we have to create the segments again in the other report suite?

Hi,I am new to Adobe Analytics and would like to know if I can pull a report that will let me know the following:1) Was Chat Button on page/available to be clicked?2) Was Chat Button clicked?3) How to pull the reporting for the Chat Button (Custom Event perhaps)?I recognize that I can track volume of activity to a particular page on a site but would like to know if I can track difference of landing on the page versus entering into and interaction via the Chat Button (this may not be formal name of item the user selects to chat, but what I thought would be easy identifier for this question).Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.Have a great day!

Hi community, I am implementing link click event rules on a site using Adobe Launch. Right now, the event that triggers the rule is a "Core - Click" that specifies that it fires "when a user clicks on any element".  This works great for what it is meant to do, firing when users click on links, buttons, etc and then pulling in the correct Data Elements/etc. However, this also triggers if someone clicks in the empty or "white space" of a page and essentially fires junk data into Adobe. While I could filter out the junk data in Adobe when reporting or by using complex Processing Rules, neither of those scenarios are ideal, as they would require a lot of day-to-day consideration and maintenance. Also, I know that I could set the rule to fire only "When the user clicks on specific elements", but even that seems like it would be fairly complex considering the diversity of link text, divs, etc. that I would have to account for within that logic. Hi All, Does anyone have any insight into how dragging a filtered dimension into a workspace pane functions versus creating the same segment using the segment builder? I have two seemingly identical segments for when the page name = "Contact Us" returning different bounce rates? It's especially confusing because the counting metrics are the same across segments.   Any insight is appreciated. Thank you.  

There was a similar post to this one a while back, but the post ended with the user submitting a ticket. My main issue is in regards of when connecting the adobe server to power bi to transfer some of my reports. The (unique) visitors in Power BI are higher than I see in my Adobe report. However, the other metrics such as visits are pretty close between both Adobe Analytics and Power BI though.    To clarify, this is when I am using data granularity, unique visitors, and checking off server for dimensions.

Hello all,   I am trying to create a segment/metric that can capture "new visitors" of a specific page. I know there is a 'New Visitors' segment/metric provided by Adobe that is based off Visit Number, but that is not exactly what I'm looking for. Visit Number is based on ALL of a user's visits to a website.   For example... if someone were to visit xyz.com and came back on a second visit to xyz.com/products, they would not count as a New Visitor to xyz.com/products under Adobe's definition.   I understand this might require a large lookback window. If that is necessary, I could settle for segment that would cut the lookback window to a year, so the segment/metric would capture visitors who visited xyz.com/products within the last year.   Thanks!

I want to run a DW report for all the Marketing channels. What dimensions and metrics should I use to see the sample data for a day? As, I want to see if the channel gets the correct value based on marketing channel processing rules workflow. What specifically should I be looking in the sample data?  

Hi,    I am connecting to Adobe Analytics using the connector in Power BI. I am bringing in following elements in Power BI just for one day - 1st Aug 2022. 1. Date Granularity 2. Visits Then I created a table in Power BI as follows: Day Visits 1 1234   To verify this single data point, I created a report in Adobe Analytics workspace expecting the total visits for this day to be exact same as what I am seeing in Power BI. Turns out the visits in Power BI are higher than I see in my workspace report. Note: I have not used any segment in either of the reports making sure they are exactly same.   Can someone explain why this difference will be? Also has anyone fixed this issue where the data does not match within Power BI and Adobe Analytics workspace?   Regards, Anuja

I have below marketing channels setup for Paid search and affiliates. We want the paid search to expire after 30 days and affiliate channel after 7 days. I have tracking code set to expire after 7 days. How do you handle above stakeholder question?

Hi all,   I have two tag properties mobile:Property 1 and Property 2   That are connected to two different report suites, respectively:RS 1 and RS 2   Property 1 and RS1 are used to track events from a mobile app up until July 2022. Property 2 and RS2 are used to track events from the same mobile app from July 2022 onward.   I noticed that the report suite 1 contains events that belong to the report suite 2.  How can that be possible?  Thanks a lot for your help.   -  Matteo

How to create annotations in a line graph in Adobe analysis workspace

Hi,   I am trying to create a segment that shows Visitors that have visited X number of items within a dimension.   I created several segments that are as per below (the value in distinct count changes from 1-9) and selected a certain timeframe. Reason for that is if i didn't include the timeframe it would return values based on the visitor's history and i only wanted the values based on a time frame.     The results do not look right though as it returns values for several segments as per below. I have tried a few things and aren't getting anywhere The visitor should fall within the 7 app segment for that timeframe selected (9 apps opened in their lifetime)
