Hi   I'd like to understand if the term "exit" in the flow graph ever refers to either a bounce rate or to "exit from the site". In other words, can exit in a flow graph ever be interpreted as bounce rate of exit rate (from the site)?   I think that if the flow is based on a page dimension for example, building a sequence from page 1 to (any) page 2, any exit from that flow on page 1 would mean an exit from the site, i.e. an exit rate. In a project, I use a dropdown filter of Product Categories to filter metrics in a table such as Carts, Orders, Cart Rate, etc. However, when filtering by category in the panel, the Cart Rate (Carts/Unique Visitors) seems inaccurate from what I'm expecting. How can I create a formula that considers the selected category in the panel dropdown and provides an accurate Cart Rate for that specific product category? I can manually create a custom metric that successfully returns the Cart Rate for a specific product category and have it return the "correct" value (somewhere about 2.5%), but the problem occurs when I try and use a panel dropdown to filter my table (it then returns about 20%). I know I could just create many custom metrics based on my categories, but I'd like to give my users the ability to see many metrics by product category in the same table by using the panel filter. Examples are Cart Rate, Checkout Rate, Order Conversion Rate, Abandoned Cart Rate, etc.   Thanks in ad

Who are visitors to my site? How do visitors get to my site? What do visitors see and do on my site? How well do I retain my visitors? Hello,I've been using the OAuth2 authentication method as explained here in order to use the Bulk Data Insertion API in Adobe Analytics.Everything worked fine so far, however I had a recent issue with the authentication data being expired. I assume this is because the refresh token wasn't used for a long time, and therefore expired. (Re-logging and re-creating authentication data worked fine)My question is: how long is the refresh token lifespan when not used? A quick google search indicates 60 days, documentation indicates 14 days, and I'm stumped to find out which to follow.

Hi all. I was checking the Adobe Analytics Entry Page Type and I realized that some entries are wrong. Example:   In this example, Entry Page Type should be 'Category' (at 19:09) , but checking in the report, the entry page type is 'Checkout' (at 19:22) Why could happen this?   Thanks in advance. Hello all, is the metric average time on site measured correctly if, for example, within a visit to a page, no other page is called but several hits are generated?   For Example:   Timestamp Page                        12:04:20 Product page A 12:05:30 Product page A 12:07:00 Product page A   12:04:20 - 12:05:30 - 1 minute 10 seconds 12:05:30 - 12:07:00 - 1 minute 30 seconds     Total amount = 00:02:40 Average time on site = ?   No further/other Page name is captured but within the visit several hits happend (e.g. clicks and overlays opens etc.). Will then be the average time on site in combination with Page Name Dimension measured correctly?

Hi, I am trying to export visitor level data for my ab-testing analysis through adobe. I know I am able to extract the data by querying clickstream data but wondering if there is an easier way to pull from adobe workspace or data warehouse? or API?  When checking on adobe workspace, I only see marketing cloud ID available, but this is not exactly the same as unique visitors: some visitors doesn't have a marketing cloud ID, and most of users are grouped into 'low traffic'.   Thanks!

Hi I have a business case when a user clicks on a button we need to track the same product sku for three different category in the same eVar. What is the best way to store it in same eVar and later on how to pull reports for this. Currently, like product sku we have more than 20 similar variables coming from three different part of the website to be tracked in the single abode hit call. tracking them in different eVars will result in 20*3 = 60 distinct eVars and the call will be large. please suggest.

Hi All,I know, to track the same user while navigating from mobile to the web we need to use Identity.getUrlVariables or Identity.appendVisitorInfoForUrl and open the web by modifying the URLs.But, is there a way to handle the opposite scenario?In my case, a user who might be using my website on their laptop or mobile device can navigate to the android app through some deep links. In this case, how shall I keep the visitor Id the same?

We are trying to understand the difference we are seeing here just by transposing the table.    The "Time spent per visit" is the same when we have the table transposed however the "Average time on site" changes. Why is that?   From adobe - the delta between the two metrics is: "Time spent per visit (seconds) metric and Average time spent on site are similar, but have several key differences. Both metrics use ‘Total seconds spent’ as the numerator. However, ‘Average time on site’ uses the sequences that include a dimension item as its denominator. Time spent per visit uses visit count as its denominator. As a result, these metrics yield similar results at a visit level, but are different at a hit level." But it does not explain why transposing the table is changing the numbers for "Average time on site" from 1:40 -> 1:29        

We are using Adobe Analytics and for campaigns Adform.   Adform reporting to us that thought it we have got 40 000 clicks on specific landing page. However Adobe Analytics reporting to us all traffic 7000.   Large part of Refferer Type we have Typed/Bookmarked and UTM sources Unspecified large part of traffic too.   Like 95% of traffic from some UTM sources is missing.   Where can be problem? Can be in implementation, or in website or what we should check to minimalize this traffic difference.Thanks

I have converted a Report to Workspace. I'm only missing the date in the attachment's file name. Is it possible to include the date in the file name?

Hi does anyone knows if it's possible to know the number of visits/unique visitors (metric doesn't matter) who visits a certain page for the first time? It's not related to first/return visits, but a single page visited for the first time. A user who has accessed a web site 20 times can see a page A in the visit number 15. What I need is a segment which indicates that the user watched the page A for the first time and (for example) bought 3 days later (the 3 days later is easy, but I don't know how to create the first part from the segment).   Thanks!

Is there a quick way to move several objects together in Adobe illustrator (so that there is no gap between them but also no intersection)? Specifically, I have a bar chart and I want to select all the bars (or a group of bars) and move them together with a simple command so that there is no gap between them but also no intersection. At the moment I push the bars together manually, is there an easier way? If there is, how does it work? If not, this would be an extremely desirable feature.

I noticed that we're suddenly getting traffic from Internet Explorer 7 to our site as of March 2nd. On that same date, we stopped seeing traffic from Internet Explorer 11. Any idea what's going on? We're not aware of any changes on our end that would cause this. It is a very small percentage of traffic overall but it's a certain type of user who needs to use IE to access our site. 

What does " reset" option does in this case?  

I'd like to be able to review a detailed list of all the fixes that went in with the February release of Adobe Analytics. As it is, we only get a random list of 'AR-######'s without knowing what they mean. This would save the time of logging a Client Care ticket if I can potentially view all of the cases that were resolved in a given release. is there method to get analytics logs through APIs using 1.4 or 2.0? I am looking for 2.0 preferably.I am looking for API method to get logs which are available under Admin->Logs

Hello all, I hope someone here can help me out 🙂 I'm trying to create a calculated metric of "uptake" which is the number of units of luggage (with a segment for luggage) divided by the total number of sectors. So in the example it would be 34496/80655 which is: 0.42 or like 42%   However, when I do the calculation in the calculated metric it will show 128% which is incorrect.   This is the calculation of sectors: And this is the calculation of the uptake: I've heard that this is because the units can also be for other types, so not only luggage but also insurance for example. Does someone know a workaround for this? Thanks a lot! Karlijn
