I'm sharing in case you run across this issue or have a solution. I've run across an issue with migrating classification rules containing custom text values. If the old rule contains a rule type of Regular Expression and a custom text value in the "To" field, the regex does not migrate. I open the rule in the new Classification Sets interface, go to Rules, then click Migrate. The migration completes but the rule screen is blank with the message “Drag and drop a function to get started”. The original rules are missing. (There is no "try and migrate again" option.) Ok. So, I needed to manually rebuild the rules. (If there had been a lot of rules, that would have been a burden.) I rebuilt the rule, saved the rule, and activated it. Some days later, I checked the report and the report did not show the expected custom value but showed "Unknown" instead. After a week, it still showed "Unknown". I then changed the new rule to use $1 instead of the custom value. I checked the report and that w

Is it possible to update the format of the timestamp column when exporting to csv. Currently the default timestamp column exports to csv as a unix timestamp in excel  Thank you  

Hi everyone, Noticing in our data that the majority of iOS data from Pinterest (identified with campaign codes) comes in with an unspecified referrer and referring domain in Adobe Analytics. Wondering if the team knows of any reason this might happen? Maybe something with the webviews in their native app, or is there some known redirect they perform. I know pinterest is a large ad platform so hoping someone else has insight on this issue.

Running into an intermittent issue with Adobe Analytics click tracking in Safari I'm using Adobe Launch (_satellite) for analytics tracking, and when users click a button that triggers a page refresh/navigation, the analytics hits aren't consistently being recorded in Safari.The issue is intermittent, which makes it particularly tricky to debug.I added the 100ms timeout specifically for Safari click tracking issues, but the problem persists intermittently. The_satellite library is available and loading fine The issue seems to be that the analytics tracking beacon doesn't complete before the page refreshes 100ms timeout isn't consistently reliable Any Safari-specific considerations I should be aware of?

Order element Tag goes from the frontend or code side, going as smetrics call and setting up the eventx with eVars.2. Purchase event is set in Adobe Launch via Rules , the standard way. Order element Tag generates different visit/visitorID when debugged in the data feeds - which should not be the case. I see this question asked several times over the past 10 years but not recently. Does Adobe Analytics have a built in or browser extension providing heatmap overlays per page? I’ve tried the “Activity Map” but can’t get it to work. Before I circle back with my enterprise admin, does anyone have a visual example of this working? We also use Quantum Metrics but their heatmapping is very buggy. It occurred to me that since it’s 2026 Adobe may have come up with their own way for users to quickly visualize consolidated user activity on a page in a visual format. Anyone seen this in action?I found this user’s DIY instructions and a few posts asking but getting 3rd party suggestions, but again, they are years old. Hoping for some progress toward a feature or a more reliable relationship with QM?  

I'm troubleshooting a Marketing Channels issue in Adobe Analytics.My Paid Search rule is:IF ANY Query String Parameter utm_medium contains cpc Query String Parameter utm_source contains google or bing THEN Paid SearchMy Referral rule is:IF ALL Referring Domain is not empty Tracking Code does not contain cpc or paid social THEN ReferralI'm finding hundreds of First Time Visits classified as Referral where: Referrer = google.com Campaign UTM Medium = cpc Campaign UTM Source = google All of our paid search traffic comes from Google/Bing and uses valid UTM parameters (utm_source=google, utm_medium=cpc).When I break down these Referral visits, most are associated with Google CPC campaigns and paid search landing pages.Given the Paid Search rule above, I would expect these visits to be classified as Paid Search, not Referral.Has anyone seen Google CPC first-time visits fall into Referral despite matching Paid Search criteria?

Is there a way to move historical Data from one Report suite to Another? We want to move data from last year to a new report suite in which we have collecting data from this year February. 

Hi all,During Adobe Summit I saw a demo of the Journey Canvas in Adobe Analytics, and I noticed in the release notes that general availability was announced on June 5. However, I still don’t see the Journey Canvas available in my Adobe Analytics environment, even after checking regularly. I'm looking for an Adobe Analytics Campaign URL builder (similar to the Google Analytics campaign builders) that will enable me to build my customer’s campaign URL forms easily (preferably from a template), will allow me to design it without any code for their brand, control naming conventions, store my Adobe links built, and help me with insights. I’m inheriting a mess from Adobe analytics and am starting from scratch with either evars or a typical cid url that also follows UTM parameter structures.I came across a public Adobe UTM Builder and have also signed up for a free trial after duplicating the template. I also tried Terminus, Uplifter, Clara vine, and UTM Smart Manager. I’m in the process of building my customer’s governance deployment in each of these platforms but so far I’m liking UTM Smart Manager best for value and pricing. Any other recommendations out there? Hi there!I have a feeling some update happened to report builder in May?Today I tried to perform one of my monthly operations, and noticed that Report Builder wiped out Excel tables instance. Long story short: I pull the data with Report Builder and do some Power Query processing on the next stage. For Power Query to work the easiest way is to refer to table instance, named ranges. Today after the update Power Query broke and I noticed flat data instead of table instance is there. I tried to find corresponding feature in documentation or in setup and failed. Wondering if I can here get some feedback from Dev team why? Anyone except of me is affected by that? For the reference. Before Now 

I am using Adobe Analytics Reporting API, where I have a custom dimension 'Page Name' and 'UserID'. 'Page views' and 'Unique Visitor' are the metrics that we want. Using the API we want a breakdown of every Page Name with the User ID - page views and unique visitors metrics. However, we are unable to get the desired response. Hello, I’m a relatively new user and am trying to understand Marketing Channel Classification. For example, I have a table where I am pulling in Marketing Channels broken down by Marketing Channel Detail and Page Query String for Marketing Channel Instances.Looking for help understanding why campaign 710421 with the same Page Query String is being classified under Paid Social and Other Campaign. Our marketing channel is set to expire in 90 days, Paid Social and Other Campaign are set to Override the Last Touch Channel.Does the table below point to an issue in our Marketing Channel Processing rules?Appreciate any advice in understanding the table below. Marketing Channel Processing rules for Paid Social and Other Campaign: 

I have done a Adobe Analytics tracking setup via DC Launch using the XDM web SDK schema. I have mapped the eVar, props and Events and the setup seems to working fine.  I am also using a Data object specified for the “Adobe Analytics” which sends data directly to Analytics. I am concerned that if this will cause any Data duplicacy in Analytics. Since the AEP datastream we are using for XDM Schema is sending to Adobe Analytics service and the Data object also does. However, the official Documentation seems to be indicating this setup (Although I cant find right now where I read that). I also verified this for some Adobe sites and they also use both the data objects simultaneously so I am not sure if this affects anything or Analytics filters this on its end.
