Adobe Analytics

Feature Request Description: The current report suite data from Adobe Analytics is presented in a two-column tabular format, which includes the data type and its associated details. For instance, one row might display "Conversion Variable" alongside details such as "Conversion Variable 6. Status: Disabled". This format lacks complexity, making it challenging to parse individual attributes into separate columns without advanced Excel or Python skills.Importance of the Feature: Digital Marketing professionals, who are the primary users of Adobe Analytics, typically do not possess advanced technical skills in Excel or Python. Therefore, the current data format can be a significant barrier to effectively utilizing the analytics data.Suggested Improvement: To enhance usability, I recommend that the data in the second column be separated by a delimiter, allowing for easier parsing and manipulation of the data into distinct columns. This change would greatly facilitate the anal

Description - Create a new user group setting to restrict users to create( read only ) segments and calculated metrics but able to change report suiteWhy is this feature important to you - Currently if an organisation has multi brands and we have multi report suites. We want certain users to have read only access to segments but at the same time able to change report suites. As of today there is no combination setting like thisHow would you like the feature to work - I would like to have a user group setting that would enable me to customize the settings as I need as aboveCurrent Behaviour - There is only restrictive setting which does not let users change report suites too

Description - To get some order into dashboards, I sometimes use a Text visualization. Unfortunately its title must have at least one character text in itWhy is this feature important to you - Make dashboards more cleaned up without the need to add a character like "."How would you like the feature to work - Allow no text (see screenshots)Current Behaviour - When the "Text" is removed and confirmed, it snaps back to "Text" Select TextDelete text Meh!

Description - In a displays settings, have the ability to display individual data-point totals. For example, this will allow an analyst to display the totals for each bar in a chart (see image).  In the display settings you could set the display to be in top, or inside the bar top.  when the width of the chart is decreased, the totals will begin to show only every other bar, and eventually only the max/min as the display grows skinnier.  can apply to vertical bars, horizontal bars, lines, and areas Why is this feature important to you - easier digestion of the data for leadership.  I have seen in many cases they will hover over individual bars, but this would be easier if they were already displayed.  How would you like the feature to work -See explanation above.Current Behaviour -you have to hover your cursor or just select max/min for lines.

Would love to see Report Builder available for the Mac. Out of my last 3 jobs, I've only been able to use it once for this reason. Not willing to get a PC just for Report Builder, but it would be huge to begin using this tool once again.

Description - Currently, the steps in which visualizations in the Analysis Workspace can be resized, are way too big. Sometimes, it would be amazing if e.g., a summary number can be resized a tad bit to make the title readable withou increasing the size to 25% or whatever it is. Vice versa, sometimes it would also be super to make these summary numbers smaller. Why is this feature important to you - For more dashboard flexibility and efficiency of used dashboard spaceHow would you like the feature to work - Just reduce the distance between the snap points to e.g. 5% stepsCurrent Behaviour - The component resizing typically ends up ina) crazy bigb) way too small

Description - Allow moving around tables and visualizations inside of panels Why is this feature important to you - The current auto-snap/-arranging of components is sometimes too limitingHow would you like the feature to work - Have a "snap to grid" or "auto arrange" default setting that can be disabledCurrent Behaviour - moving elements around will try to snap into place which hinders some layouts

There seems to be an irony to the fact that Adobe Analytics doesn't provide analytics on how Adobe Analytics is being used As an organisation we have massively bought in to using Workspace to drive the self-service of data/insight throughout our business. As a result we are centrally managing a large quantity of workspace projects, segments, dimensions, calculated metrics for a significant number of Analytics users. In order to manage these effectively with Workspace, we desperately need to be able to understand things such as:how many times are components actively used (e.g. Segment X has been used 200 time in the last 30 days to retrieve data)which workspace projects a given component is associated with (e.g. Segment X is used in project A, project B and project C)what projects a given analytics user is accessing (user X has access Project A ten times in the last 30 days)Please can you consider giving us a decent level on Analytics on the Analytics?

Description:We need be able to identify irregularities/defects in our ecommerce business (declines in web traffic/sales/conversion).Using Alerts (both daily and hourly) with segments applied helps our teams triage in root cause analysis and investigations. Some of our hourly alerts trigger frequently if the criteria are met, most often during hours of the day where a large portion of our website/app visitors and purchasers are not browsing or purchasing. Why is this feature important to youWe are receiving specific hourly alerts for certain use cases more often then we would like.We have leadership and other stakeholders that have requested to receive these alerts, but we do not want to add them to the distribution until we can control the frequency to exclude these known instances from firing. We want to prevent the integrity of the Alerts tool from being deemed inaccurate and irrelevant as a result of this. How we would like the feature to workWe would like to have

Description - The ability for a workspace owner or editor to hide/unhide selected panels in workspace. Why is this feature important to you - Would allow me to condense what is visible for users that only requires a certain area of a template or workspace without outright removing panels. Would also allow for a space to workout a thought or a theory without muddying the report. How would you like the feature to work - Function should be the same as hidden tabs in excel Right click on a panel header to find the option to hide/unhide panels. Current Behavior - Panels can be minimized but anything you don't want shown needs to be in another report or deleted from the workspace.

Hello,  This is a feature request to add annotations in all trended displays in AA and CJA.  Right now, I believe I can only see annotations in "line" charts.  But I can see that it would be also valuable to see annotations in: combo displaysarea displaysbar displaysetc.Sorry if this is in the wrong spot.  Will move this if needed.

Currently, all feeds must be created through the UI. It takes a lot of man hours to create and validate a new feed. It would be a nice for Adobe to expose an API which we can manage our data feeds programmatically and automatically. Thanks

Our company has transition to full SSO with our Adobe platform, and now we're discovering that our users are unable to access their Adobe Analytics mobile app as the SSO function is not set up with the mobile app. This is important as our top management accesses mobile dashboard frequently via tablets or phones while on the go.  Is this on the roadmap?

When saving reports from both Adobe Analytics and more importantly, Adobe Ad-Hoc Analytics would love to see that any date/time dimention on a report is formatted correctly on the Excel Spreadsheet to allow for easily sorting/ordering etc. For example, when running a Ad-Hoc report broken down by various months over a long time period, I want to be able to display this in date order (Which isn't possible in Ad-hoc to sort by the dimention at present). As these aren't date formatted for Excel, I have to manually move each row of this report to show the months in the correct order which is a time consuming process.

Hi Team, Can we please add different colors to panels so that we can differentiate them? Best Regards, Neha

Hi, I look the the figures linked to a specific page and I'm surprised to see that the bounce rate on this page is 100%. So I understand that clients that see this page always left.   When I clicked in the info bubble of the metric, I see this definition about Bounce Rate :   If I look for the calculation of the formula on the Adobe Website (https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/analytics/technotes/ga-to-aa/processing-differences#:~:text=In%20Adobe%20Analytics%2C%20Bounce%20Rate,formula%20Bounces%20divided%20by%20Entries.):  So regarding to this last formula, the Bounce rate is ok but the definition of the metric in the tool is confusing for the end users because it's different (Bounces/Visits vs Bounces/Entries). So may I suggest you to adapt it.  Thanks

I'm conducting A4T Auto Target testing and I'd like to be able to set an alert (trigger an alert email) when one of my tests begins trending negative beyond a threshold.  I want to ease the daily workload burden of checking each of my workspaces in Analytics workspace.   The current functionality of Alerts requires the user to ID specific metrics and filter in the Alert builder. With Auto Target (A4T), Lift is not a field within the table, so I am unable to select it to create an alert.  I'm also unable to build my lift calculation in the Alert builder.  It would be ideal if I could click on my summary change visualization and create an alert from it.  If its value met some criteria, then send email alert.

Description - It may seem simple and maybe even nitpicky, but I would like for the very basic formatting and alignment of the text in the #Description section of my scheduled project to, in turn, be directly reflected in the body of the emails received by the end users when they receive their scheduled emails instead of an incoherent, congealed blob of text. Why is this feature important to you - I already have a difficult time getting my end users to read the emails they receive without #Adobe making my job and my data storytelling more difficult. How would you like the feature to work -  At the very least, I would like the body of the emails to reflect the formatting and spacing the way it is laid out in the Description section to schedule my project, whether I'm scheduling a new project or editing an existing project. In fact, it would even be better if we had simple HTML editing capabilities to allow for richer content, and I know this should be possible. Current Be

Description - pretty much every other dashboarding solution allows uploading images in a dashboard whereas in Analysis Workspace, you must provide an image URL which is a major issue for many of my clients. Why is this feature important to you - it is a standard feature in pretty much all other dashboarding solutions, even the free ones like Looker Studio. How would you like the feature to work - have a drop zone or dedicated image upload button to upload the image on Adobe servers where they stay connected to the current dashboard and get removed once the dashboard is deleted. Current Behaviour - you must have your own image hosting, worst case use internet service like imgur to get an image URL that can be used Side note: I would add a screenshot here but the functionality currently seems broken.

Description - I would like to have all Alerts viewable to everyone with the ability to share them in the same way as Workspaces (Edit and Copy). Why is this feature important to you - Prevents duplication, management of alerts across the team rather than a single POC, allows for everyone to see what is being monitoredHow would you like the feature to work - I would allow all alerts to be visible by all analysts with the ability to have them be shared in an Edit, Copy, View format like workspaces.Current Behaviour - Alerts are not visible to anyone but the owner even if the analyst has the alert sent to them.

Description - In the Sequential Segment option (https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/analytics/components/segmentation/segmentation-workflow/seg-sequential-build.html?lang=en#build-time-within-and-time-after-segments) there is the ability to have the segment include data that happened before or happened after.  Could another option be added to only include data from hits that happen DURING the sequence.  For example, if we wanted to see a "add item to cart" event that happens after someone clicks on the "sale" custom link, we could set the sequence and say "after sequence" and it would capture the "add item" event from clicking on the link but then include all "add item to cart" events after that sequence as well.   If we wanted to see only the item that was added after that custom link click, we would not be able to.   Why is this feature important to you - We test a lot of updates to the app that is supposed to increase engagement but we don't have the ab

When downloading a Template from classification importer, it would be nice if a blank row was inserted in line 4, as is expected when you upload back into Adobe.Something like##SC Header####SC Header Two##Key     Column1     Column2                                                  Key1   Col1Data1     Col2Data2Key2   Col1Data2     Col2Data2It might help new users from having to hunt for the "Troubleshooting classifications" article which mentions the issue 3/4 down the page

the pre-defined date ranges as well as own date ranges are always relative to the current date. scenarioi want a table with visits for each month with to cols: first is value of visitors of current month, 2nd is the change to the previous month.solutioni need a date range which is truly "last month" compared to the month item in a table. this way i could just add two cols to the table, 1st only visits, 2nd visits and time range

When I'm running a report in Analysis Workspace (dimensions as rows and metrics as columns), is it possible to copy ONLY the dimension of a table, and not the entire row? It seems I can select individual metric values, but not individual dimension values.I'm constantly having to delete the tab and metric values when pasting into other contexts. For example:Copying URLs into the browser's address bar - I always end up pulling the trigger before "cleaning up" my paste and generating 404s this wayCopying campaign IDs and pasting into a third party toolCopying individual values and pasting into a dimension filter to narrow in on some data..and so on. I don't JUST copy to paste into Excel, since I do a lot of integration work, investigation into outlier data, and bespoke analysis.

I'm new to Adobe Analytics, currently migrating from Webtrends.Only very few things work better in Webtrends than in Adobe. But the one feature that have surprised me most, not being available in Adobe is the option to Create a Dimension. In Workspace i can create a metric, a segment and a date range. But not a dimension - something i would see as one of the most essential thing. My idea is to add a feature where i can create a dimension, in the same way as i would create a segment or a Metric. It would work in the exact same way as when i'm creating a segment.I select "+ New" and select "Create Dimension".I then select a other Dimension, as the basic for the new one, and add it to the definitionA new Dimension will in most cases be a subset of a existing Dimension. So in the most simple solution i would do a condition on the dimension it self, and that it.But it can also be a case where i want to define the sub-set on the relation to a other dimension or metric,A basic example below
