Adobe Analytics

We see that _satellite.setCookie is depracated and that we are to use the _satellite.cookie.set instead when we look at the Chrome developer console.  We tried changing the code to _satellite.cookie.set instead and the cookie is not getting set even though we did not have any build errors.  Has anybody else hit this? 

Hello everyone, I am currently integrating Adobe Analytics into an iOS application.After executing 'MobileCore.configureWith(filePath:)' I want to safely remove the configuration file and set another internal state. Unfortunately, the function does not provide a completion block in which I could do this safely. I also tried to work with an event listener.'MobileCore.registerEventListener(type: EventType.configuration, source: EventSource.requestContent) {event in ..}' But that didn't work very well, because the listener reacted to all events with'type: EventType.configuration' and 'source: 'EventSource.requestContent'. For example also to 'MobileCore.setPrivacyStatus(..)' Also, I am not sure if it is safe to use the types 'EventType' and 'EventSource' at all, as they are not in the API Reference (https://developer.adobe.com/client-sdks/home/base/mobile-core/api-reference/#start). Does anyone have an idea? Thank you in advance.

We have Adobe Analytics. It's great for our B2B digital (web only) marketing efforts. We're trying to figure out options for expanding a successful web-model into non-web marketing areas and tracking all touch points with prospects. We keep coming back to identifiers. We have many different ways of identifying a person. Personal name, email, ECID, IP, company/account name, etc. - each has different strengths and different granularity.Does CJA have any tools to help distinguish our prospects and unify our identifiers into some model that has a high success rate? I imagine this would be some AI tool or model, but not sure what's available. Or does CJA still depend on our own efforts of supplying one global identifier and rely on us to run our own ID model?

Hello there!My team and I are interested in enabling Activity Map. However, our authenticated site contains a lot of PII content: profile pages, e-mail addresses, etc. There are links connecting people, and links connecting people to account-level details, which can also contain sensitive information. My understanding is that these click values will be stored in Adobe once I enable Activity Map. Is Activity Map all or nothing, or can you block pages, CSS elements, etc to customize an Activity Map implementation? Just wondering if anyone else has explored this area. Thank you for your help and guidance!

I want to add average value and since this is not pre-present, I want to create this as a metric. Can somebody pls help?

Hi Team, We use  below piece of code for plugins in two different launch property. We have also used "Common Analytics Plugins" extension also to initialize all the plugins. In one launch property the Analytics call is trigerring and in another launch property Analytics image is not trigerring. As soon as we remove the plugin code from extension, the image request starts firing. It takes a full 24 hours for revenue from our site to get sent to Adobe Analytics. So today's revenue is always "0," and Sunday's revenue gets added Monday around noon, Monday's is added on Tuesday, etc. I would like to set up a daily anomalous revenue alert, but when I do, it is triggered every single day, saying that revenue is zero (because of the delay). Is there a way to create a custom metric like "Yesterday's Revenue" or custom segment just for revenue from a day prior that I can use to trigger this alert instead? It is totally fine if the alert is delayed by a day.

Hi I am trying to understand how many customers in the last 30 days have come to my site that have checked their shopping cart out in the last 12 months. When I try to run this my data looks wrong and believe it's excluding customers who have ever checked their shopping cart out. Is there a way to timebox it to 'not visited X link in last 12 months' ?

Hi everyone, I am running entry page report and included visits and entries, both numbers are same and that's should be the case. But, when I break it down by last touch channel, visits numbers are not matching with corresponding entries for each item except 'direct/no referrer' marketing channel. Is it because of some visitors visiting the page thru two different marketing channel during a session, but if yes it should also be same with 'direct traffic'?

As per the title - I have been sharing reports using the "sharing with anyone" function. Today - I found users clicking on the link are encountering an error page. I have tested this and see the same error. Link is shared via Share > Share with anyone > The page users are encountering:  I am trying to understand if this is an Adobe issue or if I am doing anything wrong.    

Hi,  We've noticed a decrease in the visit traffic within our paid campaign report. Upon examining the campaign query param values in the s.campaign report. we've observed this decline from mid of this month. Upon Further analysis, when we segment the data by browser, we see a notable drop specifically in Chrome 120.0. Interestingly, there hasn't been a corresponding increase in traffic for Chrome 121. the only modification that we made duering this timeframe pertains to cross domain tracking, although i don't think it should have any effect. Any thoughts

We're doing cleanup on our Adobe Analytics report suite/organization. There are certain evars and events that we've manually identified as no longer being in use or mapped to our tag manager. Is there an easy/automatic way to identify the evars, props, and events that are no longer receiving hits?

Hello,I've created a standard deviation calculated metric for content velocity, which is pageviews/visits.  When I pull that into workspace and look at it daily, it has the same value every day.  I'm guessing it's because I have a function for a metric divided by another metric and so it's just taking the average for each day.I know I'm missing something obvious, but how can I see that calculated metric by day?

Hello Team,Could you please help me with this? 

When creating a fallout visual, I noticed a difference between the unique visitors in the table vs the fallout.  It turns out it was to do with how another segment was being applied.  When the segment is applied in the Drop Segment Here box, it yields different results to when it is dropped inside the fallout (pic 3).  When it is dropped inside the fallout, it gives the same results as I see in the freeform table (pic 1 and 2); same number of visitors.   What is the difference between using the segment at the top vs within the fallout chart itself?       Thanks  

Currently, we get a unique Visitor ID whenever they log in on our site, which we can later "translate" on our CRM. I was wondering if we could use Classifications in order to show the "translated" IDs straight into Adobe Analytics workspace, having in mind this would include personal data (although it would include, basically, company name only). Thanks a lot.
