Hi al I think I know the answer to this but wanted to check. If I create a project in the sandbox on a friday, will it be overwritten when the sandbox updates over the weekend? Cheers Kate Frost Studio Manager - HomeServe

Yes, your production data should overwrite what's on the sandbox over the weekend. Polly Co

Yes, definitely. If I'm working in something toward the end of the week I try to set it up in Prod and then wait until Monday to play around in the Sandbox with it. Or if it's urgent enough I do it in both Prod and the Sandbox. Correct. You have no control of the Preview environment. Like Vic mentioned, we either time testing to start on Monday and try to wrap up by Friday or replicate what we want to test in production using a "BETA" company, so as not to co-mingle with our production info so that it will "appear" in Preview on Monday. The other option is to get a Custom Refresh Sandbox. This works out nicely for configuration projects that we've worked on that will take longer than a week, etc. The bonus is you control when the data is refreshed. The other thing about this is that it is insulated from code changes that Workfront development deploys to Preview for feedback/testing. The one feature missing with Custom Sandbox is the ability to port changes, reports, etc. over to production. Admin Kelly-Wehrmann SSFCU

Hi (again) Kelly, For those interested, our Workfront Packages solution can port changes, reports, etc. over to production from a custom refresh sandbox (or any other Workfront environment, in fact). Regards, Doug
