Moving Custom Form from Sandbox to Production

I'm hoping someone can help. I made changes to a custom form in Production. I'm not getting the results I need from this new form so I need to tweak it more. In the meantime, I need to get the original form back. It's in the Preview Sandbox. Is there a way for me to move the original form in the Sandbox over to my production Custom Form section? Thanks in advance!!! Leslie Tanner CreativeDrive

Hi Leslie, I suggest you use our "http://store.atappstore.com/product/populate-category-generator/">Update Category Generator solution to pull the old definition of your custom form from your preview sandbox into Excel, and then use our "http://store.atappstore.com/product/populate-category/">Update Category solution to push that older version into your production environment. Doug, Thanks for your reply. I was able to have Workfront retrieve the form and push back to my Production environment. Leslie Tanner CreativeDrive

Hi Leslie - Having learned the hard way that a good practice is to always create a copy of a form before editing it. That way, if you need to revert...or it takes time to figure out an issue with the new configuration, you have a CYA. Colleen Grenon Fidelity Investments

Great suggestion, Colleen. On major changes, in addition to copying the form, to avoid earning an "accidentally lost data by removing a parameter from an existing custom form" stripe, I'd also suggest making the proposed changes to the copy first, testing, then repeating For Real.
