Duration ghantt chart- customizing x access

Is there a way to get a ghantt chart report that shows the project names on the Y axis and the months and years on the x access? I can only get the Y access what I want on the bar chart function. Trying to figure out duration of projects within a specific time to see how much they overlap on the calendar. Thanks Janelle Hicks Lifespan Corporation

the Project list has a gantt chart view (icon), is this what you're talking about? Any project list should have this view -- including reports -- but usually the favorite is the list of projects in a portfolio or a program. If you hover over the time "header" it will give you the option to click to the left or right to get more or less time elements (shrink or expand into months/years) -skye
