Creating a template from a project

Hello,

 

The team are wanting to create new templates from projects so that we can refine resource planning.

 

My questions is all around 'Assignments'

 

When you save a template from a project it keeps the people assigned not revert back to job role

If you 'clear assignments' then everything goes

 

Does anyone know if there is a quick solution (rather than copying project to another project, going back through bulk assignments and un-assigning and THEN saving to template)?  Thank you

 

If there isn't, this would be super helpful as a feature.

I recommend you go into the template you create, and in the People tab, delete all the user names.

 

It's very similar to this step you do in projects, but you do it to your template, and you do it to everyone you want to take off the tasks.
