Workfront Proof and Document Approvals, and ProofHQ just one please

In Workfront you have Document Approval and Proof Approval then you have the standalone ProofHQ. WF Proof Approval and ProofHQ are similar if not identical in functionality. WF Document Approval seems to be a step-child and causes confusion with plan users. Can the three be combined into one proofing system.

We are starting off with a new instance of Workfront with ProofHQ turned on from the beginning, and are already realizing that it will be a major challenge to train all our team members not to use the document approvals. We like the workflows built into Proof HQ, but the stoplight colors on approvals in Review and Approval are much easier for reviewers to spot than the muted "make a Decision" button. I would love to see these integrated into a single, seamless feature.

This definitely causes confusion with our Plan and Worker licenses. Because of the confusion, we have not trained our users on how to review proofs in WF, we still train users to use the ProofHQ standalone. ProofHQ stand-alone is simpler and more user friendly than using Proof with WF. Currently, there are two type of details/actions/buttons - one pertaining to the document level and another pertaining to Proofing only. This makes it very difficult to tell the difference if you are not an admin and don't have the backstory and in depth knowledge into how WF works. Reviewers and workers frequently 'lose their way' in WF. I think Proofs and documents should be visibly differentiated more than they are now - whether thats visually differentiating them in the documents section, or creating a separate Proofing/Approvals section altogether.

@sljonas Yes! Completely agree. We are working on a new, native review/approval experience directly within Workfront in order to have ONE SINGLE method for review and approval. You will see more progress on this, including general availability releases the second half of 2024.
