Responding and Liking Notifications on the Notifications tab

I believe I saw one similar to this in the past, but I have not seen action on it recently.

It would be great if we could writing notifications/updates and/or like notifications from the notifications drop down tab. As a whole, I see this tab passed over frequently, and this is the main reason why. People explain that they have to click into the actual notification anyway, so they don't both using their notification tab in Workfront.
