Link Users to a Specific Update on a Project

We would like to have the ability to link users to a specific update on a project Currently, we can only direct a user to the general updates area of a project.

Of course if a user is tagged in an update and they respond to it at the time they get the notification in Outlook, they are taken to it from the link in their email notification. What we need however, is the ability to share a link to a specific update if a user is not tagged, but has access to the project.

To use documents as an example...currently, we can direct someone to a specific document on a project, task or issue via the document details link, but we can't do this for updates.

Ideal functionality would be just like how it works on Facebook or Twitter. You can click on the date of the post, and that creates a unique URL to link directly to that isolated update. Workfront already has the date at the top of the update, it's just not linked:

Our users spend a lot of time searching within threads on projects. If we could just link them directly to what they need, they would save a lot of time.

Great idea! Sounds like you're looking for an anchor link? That would be great and seems like the functionality is there as you pointed out...just need a way for users to access the anchor for use outside of the WF generated alerts.
