Change start of week

  • Workfront timesheet starts on Sunday. Our workweek starts on Monday.
  • In order to sync up our timesheets with our pay periods, we have the timesheet start on Monday.
  • This creates a grayed out box for the first Sunday (WF's start of week) and then creates a second week that has a Sunday where we can enter hours but the rest of the days are grayed out.
  • This really confuses people.

Marc, this can be dealt with changing locale of your browser to one where week starts on Monday (UK might be the closest one to US). However, I don't like this workaround that much, and I would appreciate if this could be set in Workfront directly...

Martin, thanks for tip. That would work if it was just for me but I can't implement that as an enterprise-wide fix for my users. We need this in WF.

We're in a similar situation. Our pay period (and thus our work week) starts on Saturday and the default calendar view starting on Sunday causes a lot of confusion with users.

We require timesheets and have abnormal week rules, this was a huge source of confusion during adoption and gave users an excuse to say "timesheets are too hard in workfront. the old system was better". Timesheet profile's already know the day of the week the timesheet should start on, I hope it will be simple to update the UI to match.
