SMS IPs or domain

Hi, I’m currently working on an SMS integration with a custom provider, and they’ve asked me the following:

“To proceed with the activation of the instance, we need to know from which IP or domain we’ll receive the requests so we can allow them through our firewall.”

Do you know if SMS traffic is actually associated with specific IPs or domains? I’m a bit unsure about how that works in this context.
