Hello,
We are going to begin doing some testing where we'll be dynamically switching content based on variants we'll set up in the email. My Analytics team wants to know if there's a way to identify and report on how many users received a specific variant of a module within a single email.
Example - Within an audience I've created, I want people that live within a selected City to receive a different message in a specific module. I create a variant to identify the city and update the message. Can I somehow identify and report on how many profiles received that module? I'm not looking on whether or not they interacted with it, I can do that by tagging the links in that module. I want to know hoe many of the audience I created actually met the criteria and received the email with the changes content.
Please advise

Hi @montezh2001 ,
When AJO sends an email with a specific variant to a user, trigger a custom event into AEP. Then, you can build reports in CJA to count how many users received each variant based on this delivery log.

Hi @montezh2001 ,
I will recommend to use a condition in your journey, just before the delivery, to get the count of your variant.
Regarding the delivery, if you are ok to get the interactions from CJA, then just use dynamic content in one delivery. If you want to get a full report on the variant then use 2 deliveries.
Thanks,
David
@AnkitJasani29 - Can you expand on your answer - "trigger a Custom Event". Not sure what you mean by that since the code will exist in the email itself, and is used to dynamically switch content.

Hi @montezh2001 ,
I might have misunderstood. I assumed that you had multiple branches in your journey for the email, with each branch containing an individual treatment.
