Push Credentiales - Same appID in dev and prod

Avatar

Level 5

Hi, I have different credentials for the dev and prod environments. Both push credentials use the same appID, but the dev credentials were configured with the “Apply to all sandboxes” option enabled, which is why they show as “All” in the sandbox field.

Would this configuration affect push deliveries in the prod environment, considering both credentials share the same appID (one for “All” and one for “Prod”)?

@Silvio6 In the prod environment, "prod" credentials will take precedence over other one with the "All" sandbox. Have a look at this callout from the documentation,

"Enable the Apply to all sandboxes option to make these Push credentials available across all sandboxes. If a specific sandbox has its own credentials for the same Platform and App ID pair, those sandbox-specific credentials will take precedence."
