Guardrail or limitation of Attribute values in a condition while creating Dynamic Content?

Avatar

Hi,

I am working on creating a Dynamic Template using Conditional Rules. While adding a condition to my rule, I was able to add 5 values. However seeing below issue:

  • For my use case, when I tried to add 200 values, it showed an error.
  • Did not find any mention of this limitation or guardrail in the documentation.

But it will be helpful if some one can help me with the details. Thank you in Advance!

Hello @NehaVe7 ,

Just adding some additional information that might be useful.

If I understand correctly, you would like to add a condition where a variable/parameter equals one of 200 values, and then display that block. I faced a similar issue when building an audience with multiple values in a condition.

When we checked with Adobe Support, they confirmed there is a limitation on this, although it’s not documented.

That said, 200 values is quite a lot and will definitely create challenges. I would recommend looking for a more future-proof solution, either within AJO (for example, through segment creation or a different approach) or outside AJO before applying it in dynamic content.

Kind regards,

Parvesh

@NehaVe7 I don't think it's documented anywhere. Even though I'm not familiar with the specifics of the use case. To me, regardless of the guardrail and the need to specify 200 values, it's a tedious process and hard to keep up with.

Thanks, Sathees
