Email Tests not being received by all intending recipients in AJO Sandbox

I have sent test emails to four profiles, but only one test profile is receiving the test email in Adobe Journey Optimizer. All four profiles are test profiles. I am doing this from the Sandbox. Some (but not all) received the test emails after several hours.

It could be a combination of Consent, suppression list and merging of profile based on the identitiy namespace you are using. Check the consent fields used. If the required attribute is set to NO, email won't go out.

Hi @krishnan5 ,

Check if the profiles are added in "Suppression List" or have some custom "Allowed List" rule in the channel  Email settings configurations. Hope this will help.

Thanks,

Somen

Hey @krishnan5!

Additionally check if any of the profiles merged. If they are, some odd experiences have been observed.

The workaround my org typically does it to trigger a singular profile off via test mode, and just replace the email parameter on the delivery with a hardcoaded value of the intended recipient.

Hope that works out for you!

Best,
Tyler Krause
