Edge Delivery Service security for data files placed in document based authoring

In Edge Delivery Services, when using document-based authoring, how can we restrict access to data in the website root, such as Excel and JSON files, to prevent external users from accessing them?

Hi @haripr6 
Yes, you can block the Excel files but not json, because EDS rendering is client side and client(browser) needs access to read json files.
