Can we capture MID for mobile apps also , if yes how can we do it?

I've branched this off into it's own question since the thread where it was posted is already answered.

Can you tell me a bit more about your request? Are you trying to capture an MID value from a native mobile app or a mobile app that has web views. Also, can you tell me how DTM would be involved in your use case? If DTM isn't involved, I can move this question to the Adobe Experience Cloud Mobile​ community.

We are trying to capture MID value for native app and we are not implementing through DTM

To capture the MID value you would use the method visitorMarketingCloudID found here Experience Cloud ID Service Methods

Then pass this value via contextData in a trackState, trackAction, collectLifecycleData method.
