Will Launch be synchronous?

Will Launch need to be loaded synchronously like DTM or can we load it asynchronoulsy? We are still getting feedback from our customers concerned about the Google Chrome error that continues to show up (for close to 1 year now) in the console regarding DTM causing blocking issues

2017-05-01 10:12:16.786 satelliteLib-ab5b48d…-staging.js:2 A Parser-blocking, cross site (i.e. different eTLD+1) script, https://assets.adobedtm.com/d8fa8fa49b406106290f6b4c580f81ee0c3c443e/scripts/satellite-5886825864746..., is invoked via document.write. This MAY be blocked by the browser in this or a future page load due to poor network connectivity. If blocked in this page load, it will be confirmed in a subsequent console message.See https://www.chromestatus.com/feature/5718547946799104 for more details.

Hi Jeff,

Adobe Launch, like DTM, requires synchronous loading for controlling the timing of rules and beacons. The document.write warning surfaced by Chrome is being addressed in Launch and AT.js. You can see more about the warning in the answer from Corey Spencer here.

Thanks,
