Hi
I was having an "Approver and Publisher" user role inside DTM and I was managing a web property where I could edit a tool in terms of Library Management, Global Variables, Pageviews & Content, Link Tracking, Referrers & Campaigns, Cookies, and Customize Page Code. Recently there have been some changes to my account access and thereafter every-time i go inside Tool, i see this message "Unauthorized to make tool setting changes due to group permissions. Please contact your company administrator to enable access". I cannot edit anything inside Tool however I can still edit Page Load Rules.
Can anyone please tell me what is the problem and the possible solution? Just to let you know I was not having an "Admin" user role earlier.
Regards
Niriupam

Hi Jantzen
Yes the problem has been resolved. I tried your suggestions. But the real problem was in the group level permissions that was set. So inside the web property under ""Users in this group are not allowed to create or modify the selected tools and related tool settings in rules.", the "Adobe Analytics" checkbox has to be unchecked.
Thanks for asking and also thanks for helping.
Cheers

Hi Niriupam,
It looks like your DTM company's permissions are managed in the Adobe Admin Console. If you're user receiving a permissions error, ensure that you are logging into DTM via the Adobe Cloud (formerly Marketing Cloud). If you're still experiencing issues, have your Adobe Cloud administrator check your user's permission in the Admin Console. Chances are, your user may not be in the correct permissions group, or the group may not be mapped correctly. I've posted a few links below that go over user management in the Admin console for DTM.
