Setting up global page load

I'm trying to configure DTM for the first time and my first tag is a global page load. So I make a new rule and select for it to fire on my domain. But in the Adobe Analytics data below, because it is a global page load, there is no specific data I want to pass to the tag. I just want it to fire the default pageview. How do I do that?

Hi Ro,

To set up a basic global page load rule you want to create a new page load rule that has no conditions. In the attached screenshot, the web property has the Adobe Analytics Tool installed. There are no conditions set for the rule so it will always fire on a page load. By default if no page name is defined Adobe Analytics will use the page URL.

For more information: https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/dtm/get_started.html On this page look for 'Create data elements. And Create rules, conditions, and actions.'

Best,

Tacia

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out.

See this doc if it helps. It explains the Page load rules:

Thanks!
