Removing a cache breaker (random number) at the end of the tag when deployed

Hi,

One of our clients deploy our company's JavaScript tag and it seems like the DTM adds a cache breaker (random number) at the end  - which we want to remove - in order enable caching on the CDN. The format is: http://<DOMAIN>/<FILENAME>.js?_=1450189621005

Is there a way to remove the random number at the end? Can it be controlled in the DTM?

The matter is urgent. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Ohad.

Hi Ohad,

The cache buster cannot be removed from the link. To implement around this the script can be hard-coded on the website instead of served through DTM. You can submit this as a feature request to the Ideas Exchange at http://ideas.omniture.com. In your request I recommend including a use case example.

Sincerely,

Tacia
