Path condition in DTM

Hi everyone

I would like to fire a third-party tag on a specific page load. The URL of this specific page is, for example, www.test.com/mysite/careers.html.

Can I use the path condition in the page load rule in DTM and enter '/mysite/careers.html' in the path match? Is it the path for 'www.test.com/mysite/careers.html' URL?

Regards

Sid

Hi Sid,

Here's some documentation on inserting third party tags in DTM.

Please let me know if this solves your query.

Rahul,

Thanks but sorry for the stupid question but I would like to know how to determine the path of the URL ' www.test.com/mysite/careers.html'. Is it '/mysite/careers.html' ?

Sid,

Apologies I'd not understood your question earlier.

You can just use '/careers.html' for the path

Have a look at the video on setting up page load rules here. The 2nd video talks specifically about a scenario like yours (although please go thru both the videos to better understand the context).

Regards

Rahul

Hi Sid,

Glad you could work it out.

If it's not an inconvenience for you, would you be kind enough to post the exact solution here (it's for the benefit of other users who face the same problem).

Kind Regards

Rahul
