Target Criteria | No able to delete

Hi all!

We are trying to eliminate several criteria that we have created for testing, but we constantly get the following message:

[ERROR Criteria cannot be deleted because it is in use by one or more activities. To delete this criteria, first delete all activities which reference it. (Reference name (s): 0.5815426299049302,0.5355434575526251,0.7693591864131171,0.08126863997144707)]

We have tried to locate those references to eliminate them and be able to delete the criteria, but it's impossible to find them.

None of them are active and from the API we don't see any activity with those IDs either.

So, is there a simple way to eliminate criterias?

Thank you in advance.

Hi @antoniomillan,

Sorry you're having a problem with that. I don't know what those reference IDs are, but they do not appear to be activity ids. I'd recommend trying this:

  1. Browse to criteria (Target > Recommendations > Criteria)
  2. Find the criteria you'd like to delete
  3. Click the "i" (info icon)
  4. Click the "Algorithm Usage" at the top of the info window
  5. That should give you a list of activities where that criteria is being used. If you delete those activities you should then be able to delete the criteria.
    1. Keep in mind, once an activity is deleted it is not recoverable.

Hope that helps.

Hi Ryan. We have searched that location but no information appears. There is no activity reference.
