Hi, real simple question but I can't seem to find an answer anywhere.
If I create a new Target activity and call it eg. "Temporary Activity Name", the activity URL is something like
https://experience.adobe.com.../activitydetails/Experience-Targeting/temporary_activity_name
But if I later rename the activity to eg. "Permanent Activity Name", the URL doesn't update to reflect that.
I often share Target activity links with colleagues and the fact that the activity names and URLs don't match up sometimes causes confusion.
Is there a way to force Target to update the URL to reflect the new activity name?
Many thanks!

Unfortunately, Adobe Target does not automatically update the activity URL when the activity name is changed. It is set when the activity is saved for the first time.
To avoid confusion, it is a good practice to finalize the activity name before saving it.

@nhmmike yes that is right it would not change URL based on the new activity once activity is created, this approach seems to be intentional considering consistency for internal activity identifier and tracking for Analytics, as changing URL would impact tracking data.. in your example if you would like to have new URL then on tracking side two different activities will be tracked but actually it is only one activity
best approach would
- standardize the naming convention to avoid frequent change and consistence URLs
- create a whole new activity
