Since the release of the new VEC UI yesterday (May 😎 our team has been having a number of issues.
1) QA URLs for existing activities will not load the experience
2) When creating a new activity, Modifications often disappear after they are added to the panel
3) Modifications added to one experience show up under both experiences
I've opened a ticket with Adobe Support. But I'm curious -- are other customers experiencing these sorts of issues?
We have encountered several similar issues with the new VEC UI. Experience fragments disappears after adding them to the experience, the elements on the page keeps jumping around and resizing whenever we make a selection in the DOM, modifications gets overwritten by modifications made on other experiences (or just disapperaring), audiences on several activities have suddenly been changed to "All visitors", ++. All in all, a lot of issues that pretty much makes it impossible to work with. We have also opened a ticket.
Unfortunately, we have been dealing with all of those same exact issues in their new VEC since February and have opened up 8 different tickets with them....the first one on Feb 13th where we couldn't even save any of our new code modifications in our activities. That was the one and only ticket that actually got resolved by them rolling us back for a couple weeks until they could fix that issue.
For the rest of our tickets, we've gone back and forth with their support teams throughout the past 3 months and have only gotten the "our engineering team is still working on this" reply. They've also closed a few of them "by mistake" and we had to reopen them.
By now, we have given up on using the VEC and are just creating our new activities using the Form method instead.

Sorry to hear. 😕
In my case, we heard back from Adobe after a day or two and they let us know the issues had been resolved -- which, fortunately was true. In the meanwhile, we had to recreate a couple activities from scratch. We also discovered the hard way that there is a new VEC helper extension.
It wasn't the end of the world, but definitely caused some hiccups with our QA team and a missed deadline.
