Is reactjs framework compatible with Adobe Target ?

I have created a campaign (reactJs page) and played with DOM (Modify or add new HTML content) with jquery, it works for me but just wants to know the benefit/determinants of react js. how compatible this framework with Adobe target.
Any scenario where target fails to update/modify existing element in reactJS page.
