Error 408-001 repeatedly

Recently, for the past month or more, about 50% of the time when I try to load Adobe Target, I get error 408-001: request timeout. Is it just me? Has anyone else experienced this and found a solution? As of now, I just have to try to refresh it and hope it works, which sometimes it does, but not always.

Hi @maccg12

I have seen this issue before, and there are a few steps that helped:

1) Try using a different browser or a private/incognito tab and see if the issue persists.

2) Clear your cache in the current browser and reload Target.

3) Disable browser extensions and see if there is a conflict. Ad blockers, VPNs, or security plugins are especially troublesome for Target.

4) If you are using a VPN, try accessing outside of the VPN. The VPN may cause Target to show a network error.

5) Make sure you have the VEC helper extension: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/target/using/experiences/vec/troubleshoot-composer/vec-helper-browser-extension

You can also check the status of Adobe cloud services here: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/target/using/release-notes/system-status-updates

I hope that helps!
