Click Tracking on Global Element

Hello! I'm trying to A/B Test a button that's in our global header navigation. I wanted to capture click conversions on this particular element but am finding that I can only specify the clicked element on a single page. Is there a way to track the element's click regardless of where the user is on the site?

Thanks

Hi Mark,

This can also be captured by expanding the scope of the campaign. This is done on Step 1 in the VEC by clicking on the configure gear icon. URL > Add Template Rule > Domain > URL > Contains > xxx.com

Hi Mark,

This is possible by making use of Custom Code and tracking clicks on the Global element. You can find some examples below

Thanks,
