I had a question about the "How will the count be incremented?" option under advanced settings in the Goal & Settings step. What is the difference between "Once per Entrant" and "On Every Impression"? Are there recommendations on when to change this?
If I have a goal of clicking a button and set it to "Once per Entrant", but a visitor clicks the link twice during their visit, will it only count one click. If the same visitor comes back later in the week and clicks the button again, does that count again?

Hi @MelissaMa7 ,
1. When a success metric is set to increment "once per entrant", Target counts the unique visitors that visit this success metric (this is subject to the visitor profile lifetime which is set - by default 14 days).
2. When a success metric is set to increment "on every impression", Target counts the counts the visitor again every time the visitor visits this success metric.
If you have a goal of clicking a button and set it to "once per entrant", but a visitor (who qualifies for your activity) clicks the link twice during their visit, Target will only count one click. If the visitor comes back again within the profile lifetime period set, it will not increment the value.
The option you choose will depend on your business requirements - for instance, if you want to check for form submissions on your website you would typically choose the "once per entrant" option, but when you want to track the engagement (via clicks) on a CTA you can choose the "once per impression" option.
There are also some known issues with "increment on every impression" that are mentioned here-https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/target/using/activities/success-metrics/success-metrics.
