Adobe Target Visual Editor No Longer Working in Chrome

Avatar

The old extension I used for Adobe Target is no longer available in Chrome ( Adobe Target VEC Helper). So I am trying to use the new one (Adobe Experience Cloud Visual Editing Helper) and it isn't working. I just keep getting "There was an error finding Target libraries" and telling me to install the extension. Is there something else I need to get this extension to work with the visual editor.

Hi @MelissaMa7 ,

If your Adobe Target Visual Experience Composer (VEC) is no longer working in Chrome, ensure you have the Adobe Experience Cloud Visual Editing Helper browser extension installed, or enable the Enhanced Experience Composer (EEC).

This is the extension I mentioned in my post that isn't working. It sometimes will load but will show duplicates of components on the page. Other sites it just won't load and shows blank screens.

The only way I can get the visual editor to work is using Edge and Firefox with the old browser extension. Is there somewhere I can report this or get help.

@MelissaMa7  - can you open a customer care ticket and describe the problem? We would need to have a look at these problems and make updates if necessary. As a quick note, the previous extension will be removed by Google from browsers and store at one point.
