Hello Everyone,

We created one A/B test but we didn't activate the test till now, but still it is showing unique visitors number in the report. What may be the cause?.Is it needed to create another A/B test instead of activating the same.

Thanks,

Sushmitha

SushmithaGowda,

Found the option you can get to it by: "Edit Activity > Gear icon > "Reset Report Data" see attached screen-shots below. Note this will only be available for Activities that use Standard Target reporting. If your activity is using Analytics For Target (A4T) reporting you will not have this option available. In that case re-creating the activity woudl be the best way to start fresh. See screenshots below showing all of this.

If this satisfies your query please like, mark as helpful and mark as answer. Otherwise lets keep the conversation going. Hope you have a wonderful day.

Hi Sushmitha,

QA link visits will show up in your test before it is activated, and even after deactivated (Activity QA overview ) There should be no need to recreate the test unless you would like the report to start from 0 right on the activity start date.

Thanks,

Chad

SushmithaGowda,

There is a way to clear out the data so you can re-use that same activity. I'll look for that option and reply with a screenshot in here.

Thank you Mike.

I need one more confirmation regarding to report.

If we select analytics as a reporting source and if any issue happens with analytics data, will it affect the data which is showing in target report also?

There is no dependency between analytics report and target report right.

Regards,

Sushmitha
