A/B Test Drift Chat Playbooks via Adobe Target

We implement Drift using Adobe Launch.  We would also like to do A/B testing on Drift using Target (not Drift's internal A/B testing tool).   Does anyone have experience doing this?

I was thinking of using the same CSS selector for Drift on a page, and then swap out the Drift-iFrame script with the "B" variation playbook's script.

Thanks,

D

Hi @damonwhall thanks for the Q!  Wondering if you ever figured this out, as we're also looking to leverage Adobe Target with Drift for testing.

Happy to share any of our learnings as we start to explore on our end as well!

Thanks!

Yes, at this time we have not solved this issue.  Other initiatives have popped up.  That being said, would be good to know.

In a parallel  topic, for whole page redirects, we have split testing using Cloudflare instead of Target (because of the delay and also the issue with Control getting more traffic).  I wonder if in a similar fashion you can pre-split for Drift testing and then based on an incoming URL query, you deliver different playbooks?
