A/B results after activity is deactivated

Hi - We set up an A/B test to see the effect of content on purchase activity. After a few weeks we ended the activity.

We were curious if the test had any lingering effect on purchase activity. Is it valid to simply extend the dates on the workspace to capture user actions after the Target activity was turned off? It seems straightforward, but wondering if there are implications of the tracking once the A/B test is no longer active.

Thanks!

Hi DougBr,

Can you attach your test result, Does your result announced winner?

Best practice is view reports for that activity only for the time period the activity was live. The dates should be set correctly by default when you view the activity in Analytics, so unless you have manually extended the date this shouldn’t be an issue from a reporting standpoint.

Refer Below:

Why are Target metrics sent to Analytics even after the activity has been deactivated?

Thanks
