Target Recommendations - Catalog Management

Hoping someone can lend their past experience here. We are planning to use Target Recommendations for page-based content recommendations (not "products" per se) and are wondering what approaches others have used to manage removal of pages/products from the catalog when they get deleted in the CMS (we are using AEM). We are using the data layer implementation approach with targetPageParams to populate the Recommendations catalog.

    Hi,

    Have you tried using the Catalog Item Delete API?

      Thanks for chiming in. It appears that is part of the legacy API, are there plans to have a newer version?

        As of now we do not have any information if we have any new versions available.

        However You can still use this legacy API.
