Profile attributes - Web/Mobile dataset

User identification (identity stitching) happens using Identity Map. 

Is it even required to track profile attributes from web/app if this data would come from datalake in batches for separate dataset(every 1h hours)?

I know that consents other profile attributes might be used in AJO and thats the only advantage I can think of for these datasets

@michael_soprano It’s not mandatory to track profile attributes from the web/app if they’re reliably coming from your data lake (batch dataset). However, capturing profile attributes from web/app helps in Edge based real-time use cases through AJO (Journey Optimizer), RTCDP, and Target.
