Hi Adobe Community,
I'm wondering if anyone know if it is possible for AEP to establish an outbound connection with KAFKA. From the documentation that I've read, it looks like we can only receive inbound data from KAFKA.
Thanks,
Nick

You're correct. KAFKA is currently only supported as a source.
In order to have a streaming outbound connection, the only streaming solution I have been able to find is a Journey and use a custom action to make outbound API calls directly.
If you can handle a few hours of latency, you can utilize S3, ADLS or one of the other cloud storage solutions to digest your data and then make your outgoing calls from there.
Let me know if you have any other questions or thoughts!

Hm okay thanks for the suggestion. I think our team's direction is that we will not establish this connection unless it's an out of the box solution but I will suggest that and see what we decide.
Thanks,
Nick
